Around noon on Thursday, March 13, 2025, I ordered a whopper meal deal and some extra sides using their app. I also ordered some desserts separately to ensure they remained apart from the savory items.
When I arrived several minutes after placing my orders, I went to the pick-up area (as per the instructions on the app) and waited patiently as servers helped customers at the cash and drive-thru window. (For context, it wasn't terribly busy at that point; maybe half a dozen customers dining in, and a couple cars in the drive-thru).
A man approached, looking annoyed, and barked questions at me. I told him that I was there to pick up two orders, and he proceeded to assemble the second order (desserts) and immediately wandered away.
When he noticed I was still at the counter a couple minutes later, he looked angry. I explained that I still had another order to pick up, and he sighed and began searching for my other order ticket. He had to ask a coworker to help him find my meal and drink (both sealed, so I couldn't check them easily). He abruptly placed them on the counter and walked away quickly without acknowledging me thanking him (despite his poor service) and, feeling very unwelcome and uncomfortable, I prepared to leave. It wasn't until I got home that I discovered... there was no whopper in the bag!
So, on top of having an unpleasant customer experience in-restaurant, they also messed up my order, leaving out their signature menu item. To make matters worse, I've submitted surveys and feedback through the app, but haven't heard anything back (it's been more than 48 hours...). Hence why I chose to write this review. I'd been looking forward to this meal, but came away from the experience disappointed, confused, upset, and missing food I'd paid for.
Let this be a warning to anyone thinking about dining here: don't expect good customer service, and check your order before you leave. The workers here are miserable and seem to be fine with taking out their frustration on their customers. Lesson learned - I won't be wasting my money here again, and...

Yesterday July 17 2025 , my husband was very hungry , decided to go by BK (Welland , Ontario , 🇨🇦) , he purchased a whopper combo , paid about $17.50 or so got his meal , than he needed the bathroom for a minute, before he left the table where he just sat , he covered his food nicely to come back , we'll he came back 2 minutes later to see the table empty ... so he approached the lady at the counter (manager) and ask about his food as it was intact , she said they tossed out, my husband ask why , because the restaurant was empty , he was the only customer at this time , and prior we both been there and tables wore not all clean so what was the rush...???? They tell my husband they will give him fries and pop if he wants ... so my husband left told them no that's not what he paid for , so he call me and share this so I decided to call in , I spoke with the manager , first she try to excuse herself but I give her my point of view as a customer and as a server , so she said to tell my husband to turn around because they will give him 2 combos due to the situation, I call my husband, told him to go back , once he turn around 10 minutes back and then forward to come home ; he arrive we open the bag and guess what??? Yes they didn't give him 2 combos as she said she will , I didn't ask . Then in top of it , it was a whopper junior , a meal that cost $5 with taxes ... so they stole over $10 😒 Obviously I do not recommend...
