I've been a regular at Base Electronics for well over ten years now, working closely with Larry on at least four custom audio projects for my vehicles over the years. Let me tell you, every visit to Larry's shop feels like catching up with an old friend who just happens to know everything about audio gear.

Larry's not your average store owner – he's like the Yoda of audio. Whenever I bring in an idea, he's not just nodding along; he's tweaking it, fine-tuning it, making it sing in ways I never thought possible. And the best part? He manages to do it all without breaking the bank.

One thing that's always blown me away is Larry's attention to detail. He doesn't just slap together a bunch of speakers and call it a day. No, he meticulously designs every custom setup, tailoring it to my vehicle's available space for the ultimate sound experience (bigger isn't always better). And if there's ever a hiccup with something I've bought, Larry's on it like white on rice, getting a replacement sorted ASAP.

Speaking of what they sell, Base Electronics doesn't mess around. Larry's all about quality, refusing to stock anything less than top-tier gear. That commitment to excellence is why I keep coming back – well, that and the fact that Larry fixed my very first audio setup way back in 2010, and I haven't looked elsewhere since.

I had Larry at Base install a system in my 73 Vette which met an unfortunate end about 4 years ago. I recently purchased a 68 Triple Black Corvette Roadster, although this car is a beautiful unmolested numbers matching vehicle, it did have an aftermarket sound system installed. Calling it a sound system would be very generous, it did how ever give me a second chance to have Larry do what he does best. He measured my Vette for the custom box Larry builds from scratch. The custom box that Larry builds is the key to a phenomenal sound system in a car you wouldn't think capable of such great sound. Larry, you outdid yourself on this install and have my gratitude. This system has actually helped bring music back into my life in a big way. Anyone wanting a new system for their ride would be making a very good choice going to see Larry and his crew at Base Electronics in Welland, you will be very glad you did.

P.S. l have added a pic of the car and not the system as all of that black makes it very difficult to see My Vette has become a bit of an icon in the Niagara region, it is both stunning and unique (sounds great inside and out as well). Bought my own speakers and stereo, but didn't have the time and tools to do the job myself, went to these guys to get it installed...only problem being that I bought a cheap off brand Chinese stereo from Amazon that was installed in a separate way from normal. But they went straight to work on it anyways to get it done. I got a call later saying that the stereo was not sending audio to the speakers and that one of the wiring is was wrong on the stereo, which is totally understandable since I bought so cheap. He gave me the chance to look for a solution, since I remember reading up about that problem with the piece. I sent him back a screenshot where you needed to plug it into an aux port, I told them if it needed to be another time I totally understood because they had already worked on it double the amount of time then expected and was trying to do their own research to solve the problem. These guys took apart the whole set again to try my solution and it worked! This is why I give them 5 stars! They are resilient and make sure the final product is great, even when you challenge them with your own hardware... especially cheap chinese hardware, they still do their best. So hats off to them! They did an amazing job, and I love how it all...
