I had a disappointing experience at the A&W drive-thru. Initially, the wait was longer than expected, even with few cars ahead of me. When I finally received my order, it was incomplete; I was missing a burger and fries.

I tried to explain the situation to the staff, but they seemed uninterested and unhelpful. The beverages were lukewarm, and my burger was overcooked and dry.

Additionally, the drive-thru area was not clean, with litter scattered around. Overall, the lack of attention to quality and customer service left me frustrated. I expected better from A&W and won’t be returning anytime soon. I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with a recent experience at one of your drive thru.

Additionally, the quality of the food was disappointing. The beverages were lukewarm, and my burger was overcooked and dry. To make matters worse, when I addressed these concerns with the staff, they were unhelpful and seemed disinterested.

I also noticed that the drive-thru area was not well-maintained, with litter that detracted from the overall experience.

As a loyal customer, I have always associated A&W with quality food and excellent service. However, this experience has made me reconsider my future visits. I hope you can address these...

On Saturday, June 21, 2025 we purchased 2 All Canadian Breakfasts at the drive thru.

We did this at approximately 7:30 am.

When we got the food home, we found that all 4 sausages were black and burnt, the bacon was undercooked and not crispy, the coffee had grounds in it (both coffees) and the toast was more warm than toasted.

We are disappointed at the poor quality of food on this date, and feel that it was not worth the price.

When we go into the restaurant and order the All Canadian Breakfast, it is typically very well made and tasty, so uncertain what happened here.

This isn't the first time we've had an issue with ordering at the drive thru.

The toast has been black and burnt or not barely toasted at all on 3 other occasions.

We will not be visiting the A & W drive thru for breakfast again as we feel 4 chances to get it right is more than enough, and will come into the restaurant if we want breakfast.

Our family arrived at dinner time and while the store was busy staff were going there best to complete orders in a timely matter. The issues were the tables were all dirty, floors had food on them and spilled drink stains, as well as pop on floors making the floors very sticky. There was no ketchup in the dispenser, no large glass mugs to drink from only small ones available for chilled drinks. There also was no straws and syrup containers for pop needed to be replaced to avoid purchasing a cup of just carbon in the cup. The staff could be heard arguing about orders being placed in the wrong spot for completion. The staff were going there best in a busy environment but cleanliness is just as important as getting orders out. I would suggest at least one staff member be in charge of cleaning tables and stocking condiment section and gathering dirty cups and getting them washed.
