Kokoriko Fried Chicken & Jam's Pizza Donair — Restaurant in West Jasper Place

The decor at Jam's is really fun and cute! They don't have a lot of seating but a couple of small booths and tables and chairs which is great if you're waiting for take out or can't wait until you get home and want to eat there. There's a washroom too. I like that the pizza has some unique flavours including sisig and adobo. The sisig was a bit spicy but tasty. The cheesy volcano was stuffed crust too. The ocean catch has seafood but the white sauce makes it a bit more rich than the pizza sauce ones. Wings are good and not too saucy or small, and good amount of onion rings too. Only thing I didn't like is the poutine. The gravy wasn't very good and it didn't seem to have cheese curds but some other cheese. Also the donair seemed a bit too saucy so would ask for less sauce next time.

Service is friendly and wait time not too...

We stayed at the Days Inn and out of all the pizza places closer to us the Universe guided us to Jam's Pizza & Donair. It's our first visit and the large 4 topping pizza was great. The wonderful lady gave a free pop which was a positive gesture to bring back new customers. Well, good news! We are planning to move back to Edmonton at the end of July and we also happen to love donairs so, yes, "We'll Be Back!" Thank you Jam's. :)

Feb 09/24 Update: Bought another large 3 topping pizza; (green peppers-black olives-mushrooms) and it was just as good as our first order, however, they held back on the mushrooms. Hopefully they'll add more on our next order. Place has new management and friendly staff along with more items...

isn’t funny that a pizza place ran out of pizza? well yes unfortunately it happened to me, and the person who work there didn’t even asked me for any replacement not until I suggested it, seems like he don’t want to do my order when i asked him to replace it with different things he told me i have to wait longer, of course i know that because it’s your fault that you don’t have it and i have to wait, he wanted me to cancel it. (fyi i order through uber) not to be karen, but hopefully next time you guys know how to compensate or do replacement. paid around $60-$70 for supposed to be pizza and chicken we should have better experience. Just happened want to try this place but I guess I’ll just go somewhere....
