I work at the mall, so from time to time I come here on my break for lunch. Opa is one of the more expensive options at the mall, so when I go, I’m treating myself. As another disappointed customer has already said in these reviews, this location CONSISTENTLY, left me unhappy with my experience or food. I don’t think I’ve ever come to this location and was happy with the outcome. I usually order the opa platter, with chicken and Caesar and I ask to pay for 3 extra tzatziki dips. They usually don’t give me all the dips, after I pay for them (sometimes they charge me, sometimes they don’t) and then when I ask them, they act like I’m stealing from them or as if it wasn’t something I literally paid for. Another time they gave me Greek salad, and I let them know, and then they just chucked everything in the container and put it on the counter without giving me utensils, and again, acted like I was inconveniencing them.
The picture shown here, shows an Olympus bowl that I paid 9 dollars for… I got two scoops of rice, and maybe 10 chunks of tomato, jalapeño and onion. 9 dollars… really? Again he just chucked it all in the bowl as you can see, asked if it was to go, I said yes. He puts the lid on and gets it all saucy, gives me a knife and then I ask if it comes with tzatziki (which I know it does) and then he fills the cup maybe a quarter of the way and throws it on the counter.
I don’t want to spend half my break waiting in line, waiting for it to get thrown in the container, to spend 10 dollars or more for this quality of food or service. You guys have one woman working here who you can tell she’s trying her best to make things better and the rest are a bunch of meat heads that could care less.
As a store manager myself, I’d be ashamed to have this team...
Read moreConsistently the worst service I’ve ever received from an Opa restaurant. I don’t normally leave reviews but it is incredibly frustrating to have the same terrible experience every single time from the Park Royal location. The staff are unresponsive to new customers trying to take their order and then chat with their coworkers and take forever while making it. Usually have multiple people standing in the back all looking like they are lost with no direction. When the seating section of the food court was closed, I had to yell over their loud music to place my order. Staff are either untrained and/or have no manager on duty because the setting is...
Read moreI was really disappointed with the quality of my order. You can tell that the owners train their staff to be huge cheapskates. I had two lamb wraps and the toppings were insufficient… a few pieces of diced tomatoes, a tiny scoop of feta, and a teaspoon of tzatziki. It was so dry and stingy for $20. I won’t be eating here again. I used to love Opa’s wraps when they were big and loaded with toppings, looked exactly like what you saw from the pictures in their menu. They were juicy and scrumptious. I suggest going to the A&W next door, or swing by a Greek restaurant/Gyro shop for a wrap that’s 100 times better, and for...
