Work out alot? Have digestive problems? Want a healthier option? Wanna give your body a break from eating take out alot? I needed a break from eating out alot. I wanted something raw and wholesome. I've always drove by this place and thought it was a fish shack style place with fried fish and chips. But it's not.

I decided to go on a food adventure with my friend. When we arrived at 9am on a Saturday, this place was bumpin busy. In fact, each time I drove by its always busy. This is the only place I know that opens so early in the morning. It's no wonder why it does so well.

I decided to get the myan acai bowl. My girlfriend chose the nalu acai bowl. Both takes time to make and the wait is worth it. Both bowls looked similar. So how did they taste? Amazing. Chewy texture of the gogi berries, the crunch of granola, hint of bee pollen, with fresh bananas and strawberries. No fillers, no ice, no water, no added sugar. It's very very healthy. This is not for everyone especially on a cold morning. I was ok but my friend was cold that morning lol. I also ordered 2 cold pressed juices as well 😆.

I got the beet mary. Very very nice. If you didn't know beets are very good for your intestines, it's very medicinal in the digestive tract. My shivering friend chose the green machine. It's very refreshing! Price point is on the high side. Yes we can make these at home, but it's always nice to have a healthier option out sometimes, especially when we're out walking with our dogs by the beach on Ambleside.

They also have raw treats, kombucha on tap, and a selection of grab and go items. Their take out bowls and drink cups are bio degradable too!

Overall, they also have breakfast sandwiches there, I'll try the buckwheat breakfast sandwich next time. Their store is connected with a...

I wasn't expecting to receive "fast food" convenience, but I would expect that a simple smoothie (which isn't very good BTW, and I think she forgot the frozen part of it because its warm, and she was even reading the recipe! ) should not take more than 2 minutes especially since there weren't any other customers in front of me. If I could take back my tip I would! After taking my order, the person who served me this morning carried on a conversation with a co-worker, jumped to answer the phone and take a Door Dash order - when the co-worker could have answered the phone and then when the Door Dash guy came in proceeded to converse with him....THEN she made my warm smoothie. If I could I wouldn't give you any stars, but I have to at least give you one to...

“It’s a chill place,” said the person taking our order. My partner and I had come from the park, and saw a place that seemed healthy, fresh fruits and the like… it was closed unfortunately. A person passing by, almost like some sort of secret health agent, said, “there is another place.” As though we were privy to an underlying world, somehow part of something greater. They guided us to the Anchor Eatery, we approached from the back, a sign saying “Yes you can use this door!” And inside, a host of foods that seemingly were both exactly what we wanted but also unexpected. A beautiful porch, with friendly birds birdin’ around. Smiles, and a sense of a day of good decisions, allowing the world take us to new places and instill a sense of hope. A chill...

One of hidden gem in West Vancouver ☀️ Our (me and my bestie) go to place for smoothies, juices, acai or smoothie bowls, sandwiches and wraps. No sugar or ice added to my smoothie. You also can modify with choices that you like. The staff are amazing and so friendly. Small tips for me : call ahead to avoid lunch rushes and big line up(thank me later). A lot of amazing choices for gluten free stuff also (oatmeal cookie, hanuman, and avocado toast are my top 3 fav!!🔥) Will always come back ♥️🫶🏻

Their menu and everything else is great, but on my last visit I saw the staff prepare the Nula bowl with bare hands. No gloves, nothing, and not sure if they washed hands before putting the strawberries and bananas in the bowl. And this was also the same person who took my order and was answer phone calls while preparing the dish. Too bad coz I kind of like the place but question their hygiene standards.
