Arlette was so attentive and helpful in helping me select some stunning heels for a special occasion coming up, I couldn’t have been more delighted with the pair, it was exactly what I was looking for and she and Johnny helped me customize them for the perfect fit and gave me additional tips. Poor after-sale customer service! Purchased boots in February 2016 discounted 70% from suggested retail of $250. A manufacturer defect on the installation of the left heel made the boots unstable & uncomfortable. The owner's response was they were bought on discount & I'd worn them, so there was nothing they could do. They said they couldn't go back to the manufacturer because it was last year's model.

How a defect can be detected without wearing a shoe or boot is beyond my understanding, and a 70% discount from $250 is still $72 out of my pocket. They weren't discounted 'as is'. As a consumer, I believe in supporting local business. If local small business owners smile when taking your money, then turn their back when their product is defective, what is my incentive to support them?

I bought a dress at Chou Chou and wanted to return it in couple days because I realised that size is not quite right, and it doesn’t fit me well. The salesman didn’t want to listen my reasons and he didn’t want to get it back. And he wasn’t helpful at all.

At the day when I bought it, nobody didn’t warn me that in this shop I can’t do any return in case if I don’t like it and stuff. At least they should warn people if they have different consumer rights not like in every other single shop. I’m very disappointed. I had very unpleasant experience.
