This place needs to hire a consultant as they don’t understand how to service dine in customers.
Reservation was for 4 people at 5:45. We were 10 minutes late nbd. We ordered salads for appetizers and 2 large pizzas. Salads were brought by another server and were tasty. And then we witnessed the kitchen get very very busy but not making pizzas for anyone dining inside. About 30 minutes into our dining experience our server came over and told us a large takeout order had come in and our pizza would be delayed. He walked away before we could ask for at ETA. At the 45 minute mark I was getting my own water from the tap at the bar area for myself and my friends because our server forgot about our existence I suppose (he was at the bar area chatting with customers). We lost count of how many pizzas we watched going out the door and being served to other customers.
7 pm rolls around and we are still waiting with no update and getting very grumpy from hunger as we’d been skiiing all day. I had been staring at our server chatting it up with people and serving beers in the bar area, raising my hand and waving it around but he still didn’t notice even though he looked in our direction many times.
Finally I’d had enough and I got up and approached a server with long blond hair at the cash register and explained that we had been waiting for our food for an hour and had no idea when it would be arriving and had seen our server only once in the 60 minutes since we ordered. She explained the kitchen had become backed up due to a large takeout order. Ok, do we need to go somewhere else to get dinner while the kitchen sorted itself out? She said she would get an exact ETA and let us know.
Only after this exchange was our existence finally acknowledged by our original server and management. The blonde server came back after a few minutes and told us our pizzas were just put into the oven so it would be 15 minutes. She asked us if we wanted something to eat while we waited and we said yes but then she told us the only thing they had was more salad.
Then the manager came over and profusely apologized and offered to comp half of our bill. Then our original server came over and apologized some more and said that due to managements instructions they have to fill take out orders even if it interrupts the orders of people dining in and they can’t say no. At this point I was just amazed that 1. our original server thought it was ok to let a table wait for over 60 minutes without offering ANY drinks, extra food, no specific ETA and didn’t alert the manager to the situation - his coworker did all the right things for him and it wasn’t her table. 2. Takeout orders are prioritized over dine in customers
The pizza finally arrived and while it was delicious, the experienced had soured the night. Additionally they didn’t have warmers to put under the pizza pan so by the time we got to the last few pieces we were eating cold pizza.
Hopefully management will take a hint that takeout orders should never be prioritized over customers dining in - in fact it should be the opposite as the entire point of dining in is to experience the SERVICE. People sitting at home ordering takeout can have their expectations adjusted (I.e. if someone orders 10 pizzas during a dinner rush the restaurant should call them and say “hey we are in a dinner rush and your order will be delayed by X minutes, do you want to wait or should I cancel?” People ordering takeout know this, it won’t be a shock that dine in customers come before them. The multiple complaints on here indicate service is a pain point for this restaurant. our original server desperately needs training, you don’t just let customers fend for themselves and do nothing to placate them when their food is over an hour late.

Read moreThe food here was quite tasty and the atmosphere was fun, but unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired.
We came in as a group of 14 and immediately let our server know we would need 6 separate bills. She looked at us like we were crazy and said she could only do 4 (which I know isn’t policy), so I suggested ringing us in under two separate tables. She responded with attitude and, according to my sister, threw in a big eye roll behind my back.
We had kids with us and asked for their meals to come out first—even though there’s no kids menu, which is fine—but again, the server seemed confused. Some of our group ordered appetizers as their mains, but all the appetizers came out first anyway, followed by a long, staggered wait for the rest of the food.
It took 60 minutes from the first pizza being served to the sixth (and last) one arriving. By then, most of us had already finished eating while others were just starting.
When we ordered drinks, the server never confirmed anything, so we weren’t even sure if they were coming. Thankfully, they did. However, we also received extra pizzas we didn’t order, and when we questioned it, she got confused, argumentative, and again with the eye rolls.
To top it off, we were charged an automatic 18% gratuity. While I do understand that’s standard for large groups, there was no mention of this online, in the booking confirmation, on the menu, or by the server. And frankly, the level of service we received didn’t warrant that kind of tip.
No manager or supervisor ever checked in on us, and our server didn’t ask how anything was at any point. She seemed frustrated and overwhelmed from the start and completely disengaged once she knew she’d be getting a guaranteed tip.
I truly hope this was just a one-off issue with the server and not reflective of how the restaurant normally handles large parties. Again, the food and ambiance were great, and I could see this being a fantastic place with the right service and maybe a kids menu or some more family-friendly options.
My brother has already spoken to the manager, who was very apologetic—which we appreciate—but unfortunately, it doesn’t undo the experience.
We visited at around 6 PM on Tuesday,...
Read moreThe menu is going to list a bunch of pizzas and some of those aren't going to have sauce listed as an ingredient within them. This is no bluff as these pizzas actually come with no sauce. My girlfriend and I ordered a 'Homemade sausage' pizza, and when we got it she opened the box while walking and she said "they cut it in rectangles and it looks like it doesn't have sauce." Now I was thinking to myself, "who cuts a pizza in rectangles? Is the pizza itself a square, or is it a circle leaving odd slices on the side with more crust than the more central slices?" Just to turn all the stones for this review it was a circle leading to the crust ratio situation described above but for the crust enthusiasts this isn't an issue. You still get the same amount of total crust and innards, obviously, it's just delivered in a slightly unconventional manner. I also thought to myself, "Huh, they were serious when they didn't list sauce as an ingredient. I wonder if this will negatively impact the pizza." The sauceless pizza was a little strange, but I have to say the sausage was delicious, the pizza was seasoned very well and overall quite lovely. The sun-dried tomatoes added a kick of sweetness and acidity which cut through the richness of the sausage. Sometime following our meal my girlfriend asked me, "What would you rate this pizza out of ten?" And I said, "A good nine I think. It was kind of odd that it didn't have sauce, and I think perhaps adding sauce would take this pizza to the next level, but all in all it was quite pleasant despite its lack of sauce."
So there you have it. No sauce, but tasty regardless. I think it would be interesting to explore adding sauce to this pizza, but even without it you're not straying out of the realm of pizzas that will make you say, "That was good." You might wonder if removing the sauce from a pizza even allows that item to retain its pizza status, and I'm not able to answer that for you, but the result is still...
