I’m so sad to write this review after having previously praised you guys for being the best dominos store ever but what we witnessed yesterday was heartbreaking. When we came to pick up our pizza there was a man who you could conclude was homeless in the store at the same time. He walked around outside for a bit before entering your store with the money he had managed to collect.
As he tried to buy some food he realized he did not have enough for the carry out $10 deal. You could see he was struggling to figure out how to either get more money or go without dinner when your cashier told him the cost of the pizza. He repeated a few times how it’s not this expensive in Toronto and kept looking at the money in his hand. Your cashier had zero patience for this man and kept shouting at him that this is the cost and that he’s not in Toronto. The man was visibly at a loss and not sure what to do. Understandably the store was busy as people were trying to pick up their food for the Super Bowl but your cashier did not need to yell at him like that and embarrass him. Regardless of if he’s homeless or struggling or whatever he is still a human being and deserves to be treated with some dignity.
Ultimately my husband purchased his meal but you guys need to do better in handling people with respect. He wasn’t asking for anything free or causing a scene. He was just trying to get some food. Of course your staff may be overwhelmed on a stressful work day but there should still be space to treat people with dignity. It was heartbreaking and I just hope next time one of your staff encounters someone down on their luck, that they imagine that person being someone’s father or brother or uncle.

Read moreAt one time this store would have received 5 star rating from me. Ordered tonight online as directed by the order taker when I called in as the pizza is on special via online ordering. Email confirmation after ordering said 33 minutes for delivery. After an hour I called the store and was advised the tracker tool does not provide accurate delivery times nor does the email confirmation. I was advised the delivery may take up to 2 hours. Then I was hung up on. An hour and 50 minutes later the door bell rings. I advised the driver in regards to the issue at hand and she advised that she would not blame me for not taking the order. I call the store back and spoke with manager this time. She advised they are busy, and over 50 orders have been cancelled so far. I asked her how she remediates those customer complaints. She advised that staff is trained to offer the pizza for free. At this time she says your pizza just came back to the store if you want it we will bring it back for free. I thank her for the offer. Lol I am not going accept the offer. Staff and Manager at this location need better training. Manager advised me to call head office and complain. She said that when ever they have these online sales this always happens. My question to her was do they surprise you with these sales? She advised no, we are given notice. Read moreOn February 12, 2015, I ordered a Large pizza for pickup but most of the slices had bacon and sausage crumbles which I didn't order embedded in the cheese. I don't eat pork. The pizza was unusually dry and the toppings were skimpy as well.
I called them to let them know and they offered to either replace the pizza or receive a gift card. I chose the gift card because I was about 30 minutes from my place. I gave the person on the phone my address so they can mail it -- which she promised will take a week for me to receive it.
The next day I received a call from the manager (I assume) and she approved the gift card and promised delivery in 1 week.
Now it's March 18, 2015 and I still haven't received anything!
The gift card isn't the problem, it's the way they handle preparing the customers pizza. Please wash your hands and clean the work area so you don't mix the wrong toppings.
Do I have to call the store to make sure other toppings are mixed in with my pizza? I've never had this problem with the competitors.
This has only happened twice -- this location and the one in north Oshawa.
