So, I visit this timmies every once in a while, I love to sit there early in the morning, sip onto my steep tea (2 milk and no sugar. Sugar's as bad as Alchohol for you) and just be at peace with myself in the early morning hours. Normally everything goes as planned. However on this particular day, this lady, short in stature and looked to be in her late 50s or early 60s, put out a cup and declared it as "your steep tea sir". I trusted her blindly and took the cup and walked to my preferred seat,opened the mouth of the cup and sipped the tea,only to find out it has sugar in it. This is normal. I mean it's not a rocket launch. Ones allowed such mistakes. No big deal, especially when one can go back and order another one. When I went back though, the lady, same lady as above didn't take it well. She was offended. Sort of like "I have been doing this for quite sometime and never make mistakes" attitude. It's almost like I questioned her competency and hurt her pride and ego by taking the tea back. She said, you took the wrong tea cup. I said that's what you said is mine and that is why. She gave me another cup and I Walked away feeling the stinging stare of the lady right at the back of my head. All forgotten and forgiven , I go back again the next day and order the same steep tea. 2 milk, no sugar. I get served my tea by the same lady with the same stare. It's like she was telling me, "you are the one who ordered the wrong tea and blamed it on me". She was aggressive in her disposition and although we didn't exchange any words or pleasantries,I couldn't help think, it was a mistake they she made and that I didn't make a big deal of. Shouldn't we just behave as if nothing happened and keep calm and carry on. Is it worth holding a grudge and making the other person feel uncomfortable through gestures and actions? My payment didn't go threw and as soon as it did the guy told me they didn't have the bun and all I said was "would have made sense to tell me before putting my payment threw" and then I was asked what I wanted and wanted something more expensive, so the obvious thing to do would be to get a refund and pay for the new food as I don't wanna stress the cashier out making them do math. I mean they are middle aged and work at time Hortons so I figured subtraction wasn't there stong suit. But no questions asked was given my refund and the second I paid for the more expensive meal the person on cash ( the manager) said " you know I would have dome that meal for the price of the origina one" witch makes no sense. Why would you wait until after to just say that for a 2$ diffrence. They gave me the beverages and told me to park they will bring the sandwiches out. I waited 10 min went back through the drive thru to ask where my sandwiches were. The lady told me we came out. I corrected her and said nobody came out. 1 man came out and went to his pick up truck the back door opened again but nobody else came out. I asked to speak to a manager they refused. 3 empolyess at the window talking to me about how they were right and I was wrong. They handed me my sandwiches not fresh new ones and still no manager I told them I was gonna google review and they didn't care. TERRIBLE TERRiBLE.
