The individual who was working came out, and asked us if we were all part of the same family. We said no; we came in separate cars. She then said she could not allow us into the store. There were 2 individual white people lined up behind us. After some more customers left, she said we were not allowed into the store until the other members exited the store (even though we explained we came in separate cars). She let the two white people in. Two people = two people. Why were the next two brown people not allowed in? Either she didn't explain the rules properly or she didn't believe we all came from different families because of the colour of our skin. Read moreBest pies ever. And they're vegan (except the seasonal pumpkin pie)!!! Pre-covid, their cafe was awesome too. I'm hoping they re-open once Covid settles down. My non-vegan partner loves the brownies, and my GF friend loves their GF bake tray. They used to sell a vegan bake 😔.
This market & bakery carries a variety of local and popular products. A bit pricier than grocery stores because they are a local business. I support them regardless.
