This was the most disappointing sushi I’ve ever had. The sashimi wasn’t fresh The miso was definitely noticeably from a box, which is normally fine with me but it was watery and flavourless The wasabi was poor quality, again, likely pre-bought but I expected better quality than the wasabi that comes with the sushi boxes you can buy at a grocery store The agedashi tofu sauce tasted like water there wasn’t any flavour in it and that is very important to the overall dish The gyoza sauce is too tangy and a disaster The rice was also a disaster I am shocked this place has so many good reviews. I know they’re no fine dining restaurant but for $60 I expected something to taste good.

Overall, I wish i’d bought sushi from a grocery store because it would have been half the price and slightly better in taste but mostly I wish I ate somewhere else for lunch.

Sad that my boyfriend and I wasted $60 and my lunch time to be so grossed out! Left me with a rotten feeling...

I used to eat here regularly and enjoyed it very much. Its been a while so I decided to take-out for the family. Wow has it gone down hill. Box A: zero teriyaki flavour on greesy chicken, rice was undercooked, dry and rubbery, and the California rolls fell apart and were stale as if they were made days ago. The wanton soup was just brown salt broth. Zero tofu and one tiny morsal of seaweed.

Beef Udon: noodle were good, beef and broth were super fatty and salty

I'm left feeling ill and like I should have ordered pizza.

I used to love sekura but won't be back again now that it has become quite terrible and not at all worth the $65 I just paid.

Sorry for the bad review as the staff were very friendly. I feel bad but I also feel...

Came here for dinner earlier this month, during my first night in Whitehorse. The atmosphere was cozy and the service friendly, but the corners were a bit dark. The way to the washroom was not very well maintained.

We ordered a ramen, the firecracker roll and the BC salmon skin roll. The rolls tasted good and were reasonably priced, but they were poorly made. The rice was not rolled all the way around most of the rolls, causing many of them to be wackily shaped, and they disintegrated easily when picked up by my chopstick. I was honestly quite shocked at how easily they fell apart...They need to hold together as you dip them in soy sauce and then send them into your mouth...Hope the restaurant improves the...

If you like sushi, you’ll definitely like this place. It is one of the best sushi in Whitehorse. Food here is reasonably priced compared to its competitors. Also, the quantity is more for same or lesser price. In the picture is Firecracker Sushi roll and Boat 1. Firecracker was seriously good and I highly recommend it!

It couldn’t be located in any other stop. The perfect time of year for a good bowl of Ramen! If you haven’t tried their seafood ramen. Their staff were quick to seat me and the interior design feels just right for Ramen. It’s worth giving Whitehorse a drive thru and getting your lunch or dinner at Golden Sakura!
