Talk about all flash no substance. This review is for the restaurant. The food seemed interesting in terms of options and appearance but the taste was nowhere to be found. Very pricey for such insipid taste. To me either the choices were the wrong ones or the execution or the ingredients were off. The service was adequate, having to chase servers is never a good thing. The ambiance was very good and so was the presentation of the dishes which made the food so underwhelming. If I had to describe the food, it would be as if it was fast fashion, or a much lower version of Zara. It looks good on the eyes but falls fast apart when you notice it's not there. At this price, it's almost disrespectful to serve such bad food. Please do a tasting of your own menu and tell me its good food with any form of honesty. The meat was terrible and the only thing salvage were the tortillas for the tacos. When I have to see what I ordered to make judgement of what I am eating is a big problem. The bar gets a 4 star review. Very good offerings and cocktails. Pricier in a per drink basis but for value is very fair. They are on the stronger side in that you pay the fair price given the contents. I however do not like when bars are political pods for politicians to go on their soap box. As such, this place makes me feel slimey and it feels dishonest in a way that it detracts from the experience. Some bars stand out due to their support of some values, and elevates them as lighting rods of new movements, this is the contrary and its reflected in the score. Overall, focus on improving your food and stop asking for support when you charge the prices you do without fully delivering. Also don't be surprised if people dislike the place due to its association with politicians of a certain world view. Please fix your food as the place is very nice and it does have an aesthetic that could be great if the food was anything above just edible.

My true rating for this place would be 4.5 The atmosphere is one of the coolest things about this place. It's got a cool dim lighting with eye-catching decor, and fresh flowers at each table. It's definitely a trendy spot to bring a date or a group of friends. The food was very good, above average for sure. But some details were hit or miss. First, I will say that the bison bolognese was one of the best things I've eaten, anywhere. And was very affordably priced for such a sublime and stand-out dish. ($18.) However, my Bahn Mi lacked sauce and seasoning and came on an entirely too stale/hard baguette that was nearly impossibly to bite into. I ended up asking for a steak knife. My side salad lacked dressing (where you feel like you're just eating leaves), so I asked for more. But the house pickled veggies in the salad were a thoughtful and apreciated touch! The bartender is adept in the skills of mixology. I really recommend no zero alcohol Borreal cocktail. It has a not too sweet and herby taste. My husband got the Harlet and he said it was nice and strong. The service was laid back and pleasant

Similar to other recent reviews, the food is very disappointing. The portion sizes are unacceptable - like others, we also left hungry. The chicken burger was awful and honestly, we should have sent it back. It was the size of a small McDonald’s chicken burger. The chicken was overcooked and the four, yes FOUR pathetic potato wedges it comes with were undercooked. I actually almost started laughing when the dish came out at how hilarious the potato wedges were because I thought it was a joke. Four tiny potato wedges and a child’s size chicken burger for $22+ tax. Are you serious? It also didn’t taste good. We went to McDonalds after and had a better chicken burger. I wish I was joking. I can’t believe we spent $55 on two small mains and one small non-alcoholic drink.

The only reason I’m giving it 2 stars is because the staff are nice and service was good.

We’ve been here before a few years ago and the food was much better. I’m not sure if a new chef was hired or what has happened, but I highly recommend reevaluating your menu and making some changes based on your...
