Food & service was fantastic. I got the Salisbury steak & eggs with fried potatoes. I thought the fried potatoes were risky, knowing there are many ways to mess these up, but they were delicious. Perfectly golden brown, crisp on the outside but sliced thick enough to have some fluffy light goodness left in the middle ... and served piping hot so it would take the extra salt, pepper and house hot sauce nicely.

The Salisbury steak had a nice sear on the outside and was juicy in the middle.

As for the service; it was fast, friendly and no nonsense and the time it took for anything was lightning quick. Sat down, less than 1 minute and I had menus and a drink request.. she went directly to where the coffee mugs are stored, grabbed one and a pot of coffee, came back and BOOM.

I could go on but you get the point. This place is better than I could've hoped and I am glad I tried...

I’ve been coming to the restaurant for my lunch breaks, and today I went to enjoy a nice Mother’s Day breakfast instead there was a hair in my food and they just asked if I wanted them to replace the bacon only. I was shocked that a plate that is contaminated with hair and the solution was to just replace that item after it touched everything on the plate. When questioned I just had a waitress who was trying to cry after I called her on her attitude, and then the other lady saying sarcastically they would handle the waitress. Happy Mother’s Day to me as I sat and watch my family eat while I have no food :) great customer service definitely deserve the 4...

If you’re in the mood for some breakfeast, you’ve got to check out Dog 'n Suds. it’s one of the last remaining restaurants of the chain in Canada! Walking in feels like a time machine to the 50s, with its colorful diner walls and retro vibes. And the breakfast? Absolutely amazing! I’m talking fluffy pancakes and perfectly cooked eggs that are way better then dennys. It’s like eating at grandma’s house.
