Up until very recently, this ought to have of been the most well-managed location I’ve ever frequented. However, over the past couple of months, for reasons unbeknownst to me, whether it be the dining room or the drive-through, the restaurant is CLOSED during post hours. For example, McDonald’s is the only restaurant open in town overnight and it’s my opinion that the management of this location isn’t aware of how busy the store is (or could be) in the middle of the night. There is often times countless cars queuing in the parking lot all down the street only to give up. Should there be sufficient staff working, I bet that sales volumes would be equivalent to that of a lunchtime rush. It’s important to consider that a large majority of the people in Williams Lake choose to be unemployed, many of which staying up well into the wee hours of the night. Nevertheless, my soul concern is the fact that I keep arriving at the drive-through at 1 AM, when I finish my 9 hour shift work, only to see that there’s a parking lot full of frustrated customers having to do U turns because staff are placing milk crate obstacles in the drive thru to obstruct customer access, most notably during peak volume at 1am. I’ve expressed this concern to McDonald’s directly and received a generic, unsatisfactory response. Very disappointed with how this was handled thus is the reason I’ll no longer be...
Read moreDon't Go if you have any food allergies! I asked the cashier to tell the kitchen that I have an allergy to onions and he refused, I begged him but he wouldn't! "Oh you ordered it plain that is enough. ". I always check my food before I eat and it's a good think I did because guess what was right on my burger? An onion. I came back not impressed at all and asked for a manager right away of course the guy knew he had screwed the pouch so he didn't want to get her. I demanded until I had both the manager and shift manager there and told them there was an onion in my burger and they had the same line every place tries "oh well we didn't know" I am like "no and do you know why? I asked three times I litteraly begged my cashier to tell the kitchen about my allergy and he refused to do it! Now I am back with my burger with an onion. The whole while this is going on the cashier reordered my burger hoping he could keep me from talking to the manager in the first place but he only orders my burger with no onions not plain by the time the manager catches this they have already made my replacement that I also can't eat so in an industry that makes only a few cents on the dollar they had to make my burger three times to get it right. So much for any money being made on any of my order. I was so thoroughly let down by McDs today I don't know when I will be able to bring myself to eat there...
