UPDATE September 3rd 2023 at 8:07pm
I’m really not sure what the manager’s problem is with me. This is the only restaurant that mistreats me out of all the others I go to.
It’s to a point where her and her staff are saying “Un oh, not again.” as soon as they see me walk in.
Even as they seen me walk in and I am standing right there again, patiently waiting. Yet, the manager still refuses to acknowledge me directly.
Instead of waiting another 8 mins, I decided to wait 8 seconds to see if would continue her unprofessionalism and pettiness.
When her and her staff turned their back on me, I just said “Hi guys, (then my order number.”
This time she around she said “Oh, I’m sorry about that. I thought somebody had already helped you out.”
How is that even possible when you just seen me walk in and you and your staff said “Uh oh, not again.” to me?
Also, even if you thought that, you should still ask if I have been already helped out like a professional manager should. You are supposed to lead your staff by example in a positive way. How do you think they’ll conduct themselves if they see their own manager acting unprofessional?
I will continue to update this review to keep everyone in the loop. This is unjust and unacceptable treatment. September 1st 2023 at 12:45am
“Oh sorry I didn’t see you there.” she says as I was standing right in front of her.
I guess the other staff didn’t see me as well because they didn’t acknowledge me either when I walked in.
Your staff might as well flip me the bird and tell me you don’t care if I’m there to pick up YOUR customers order which they spent their hard-earned money on just because of your...
Read morePossibly the worst service I've ever experienced. Was in on a Thursday night around 9:30pm. There were 10 of us and we sat on the patio, so ya, a big group, but there were probably 3-4 tables in the bar, and another 3-4 on the patio. Not what I would call busy by any means. Our server was Taylor and the bartender was Thor. We all ordered a beer or pop immediately, nothing fancy. In the first 40 minutes, all we got was 8 glasses (trouble counting?) and 2 pitchers of water. The beer did arrive after around 40 minutes, except for 3 orders, which were followed up on over 10 minutes later. I attempted to order a second schooner at that point but it still hadn't arrived 45 minutes later when I finally got my bill, and fortunately it wasn't on there. The server did tell me that I couldn't have a second schooner at the same time as my first, but I told her that I would be done my first in a few minutes, which I was, and sat at the table with an empty glass the remainder of the night. The food orders were almost as slow as the drinks, but that was more understandable (it should take longer to make and cook a pizza than it does to pour a drink). If the bartender is that slow or incompetent, it's up to the server to fix that. I have years of experience in the serving industry, and I just couldn't see any reason for the overwhelmingly slow service. Taylor was friendly enough, but there was never any explanation or apology for the wait times. I think everyone at the table would have had a second or third drink if that would have been possible, but it wasn't. After an hour and 45 minutes, we were finally given the opportunity to pay and leave. I don't come to BP for the amazing service, but this...
Read moreSo I was having a rough day and called to place an order for a Chocolate Explosion cake. I haven’t had it in like 6 years. Riley took my order and was super nice. I asked her to pick out a nice piece for me 😉 about a half hour goes by and my friend who was heading over to pick it up called me and said there was no order for me… I was super confused because… well I made that order a long time ago. I asked if he was at the Taylor location (which is in the grantpark area) and he said yes he’s on grant. And I said Taylor? And he said yes. I called back and spoke to Riley who said my order was still sitting there. I explained my friend was told I didn’t have one and had to wait longer but was already on the way back. She passed the phone to the manager Lucky. We chatted and he was extremely apologetic and offered to deliver it to my house with free delivery. He mentioned he even put a Toblerone chocolate bar in the bag because Riley said I asked for a good piece and was having a bad day with cramps haha. I called my friend back to double check what was going on and he said he went to the grant location…..which is 20 mins away and he totally forgot there is a location on Taylor… 5 mins away. I called Lucky back and apologized because my friend went to the wrong place. I felt bad because they went to the trouble of getting a nice piece and giving me an extra chocolate bar so I had it delivered anyway.😅 but i wanted to leave a review because to be honest…. Customer service is lost on a lot of places and I felt like Lucky was not only super kind but went above and beyond for something they didn’t even do wrong. Great job Lucky and Riley!!! You guys are...
