Today, my family and I decided to visit our local Starbucks on 1180 Taylor Avenue. It was our first visit since we moved to the area. As we entered the café, I noticed that the staff members (there were three staff members) glanced at us in a very judging way, and they did not even greet us. Despite there being only two other customers in the store, the three staff members did not seem interested in serving us. After we placed our order and sat down, we were disappointed to receive our drinks in paper cups instead of porcelain mugs, as we had planned to enjoy our coffee in the café. When I asked why we were given take-out cups, one of the staff members informed us that they were closing in ten minutes and that we should have specified that we wanted to drink our coffee in the café. Because of that, we felt pressured to "enjoy" our drinks out of paper cups. This experience left us feeling unwelcome and dissatisfied. When we finished our coffee, I approached one of the staff members, and asked how to file a complaint. She responded by questioning the need for a complaint and suggested that I file a complaint online and receive a free drink as compensation. I was appalled by her assumption that I wanted to file a complaint only to get a free drink. Overall, very disappointing and humiliating experience. Never coming back to that location, in fact, never going to any of the...
Read moreMy sister and I typically love getting drinks from Starbucks whenever sheâs in the city. We typically pass on the Taylor location because previously the drinks were as good as other locations. Today being on a small time frame and it being close by we placed a pickup order, letâs just say both of our drinks were once again a little disappointing. I had ordered a venti strawberry matcha with sc cold foam and light lice, it felt like drink only took up just over half the cup and the âsc cold foamâ looks and tasted like shaken milk bubbles, which filled the rest. This is nothing on the attitude of the workers as they are all friendly and welcoming. I know itâs a busy location just maybe looking for a little more attention to drink quality with...
Read moreThis is one if the slowest Starbucks in our neighborhood. Ordered 1 cold brew and 1 short pikes place coffee. 7 people ahead if us and waited 15 minutes when the short coffee should have been poured upon order. Many people talking to each other about the painfully slow service. One man walked in, ordered 2 grande coffee's and had his drinks instantly and left. We were still waiting. Once my order was called, I asked why the coffee was not poured upon order. The answer, I don't know, I just started. Really, Starbucks need more batistas working making drinks, or management that helps when they see up to 8 people waiting. Almost ready to take our business to Tim's...
