Burrito Splendido — Restaurant in Winnipeg

October 10, 2023 6:00 pm. Our family experience. My first time here. Lady working there preparing our food had an attitude of “we should already know what we are doing when it came to choosing what’s on our burrito experience”. Huffing and puffing with impatience that she had to go through telling us what our options were. She was wearing plastic gloves ensuring our food was not contaminated but in the middle of preparing all three of our burritos the phone rings and she answers it with the same plastic gloves she was preparing our food with and then goes back to preparing our food with the same plastic gloves she was just on the phone with. I did give her a look of concern and she did notice my look and just said I will continue with your burritos in a moment. We should have walked out at that point but it was the end of the day and all of us were tired and just wanted to eat. We sat down to eat in the restaurant and the whole time we were there she was on the phone and very loud with whomever she was speaking with. We all commented on how the environment was disturbed by her volume on the phone. The food was really tasty but the experience was like we were bothering her to come in order food and eat there. For 50$ I would have been nice to have a peaceful environment where we didn’t feel like we were imposing on an employee. We will look for another location to try again. We are once a week consumers. Aside from being rushed through what I wanted on my burrito. Or the coss contamination between the food bins.

Not to forget the lack of cleaning between orders, 4 orders made with no cleaning the assmebly area after each order, even though there was meat and other food debrie on the counter

The chorizo was dry and tastles, almost tasted burnt..

No refried beans and what was left she scrapped the dry stuff from the side and bottom of the bin. I am guessing was not a full portion.

Way too much rice. It's to make uo for the small portion of meat.

$1.35 for guacamole only to have almost half of it squeshed out when they made the burrito. All the remaining guacamole was on 1 side of the burrito with most of the other topping.

The burrito instantly fell apart and everything spilled out..

IM RATING THIS STORE ZERO STAR!!!! EMPLOYEE IS SOO RUUUDEEEE!!!! SAME AS THE MANAGER ON DUTY!!!! THEY ARE SOOOO RUDE!!! IMAGINE, TELLING ME " YOU CANNOT HAVE YOUR ORDER, YOU CAN LEAVE!" BY THE EMPLOYEE! AFTER IVE WAITED ALMOST 30MINS!!! THEY KEEP TELLING ME "5MINS,5MINS!" FOR MY ORDER!!! I EVEN ASKED IF THEY STARTED MY ORDER AND THEY SAID YEAH YEAH! BUT THEY GIVE THAT ORDER TO ANOTHER CUSTOMER AGAAAAINNN!!! IVE TRIED EXPLAINING TI THE MANAGET WHAT HAPPENED BUT INSTEAD HE TOLD ME "NO NO YOU LEAVE?!
