First Thing: You are required to remove your shoes before entering the play area. No exceptions. If you have bare feet, they will sell you a $2 pair of black ankle socks. Shoes left in shelves at front. Unexpectedly good service and maintenance by Carter and Nathan, the two young men operating the place while we were there. And they were plenty busy, wiping down, sweeping up, attending to customers and serving from their concession stand. The two pizzas we received with the room rental were heartily consumed, although I can offer no personal insight into their quality, as I did not eat anything while I was there. The coffee was from Tim Horton's (Yay!) Keurig containers (Boo), and was very good - and free that day until 2pm (Chef's kiss). Other snacks were things like a small plate of crackers with what appeared to be real cheddar cheese. There are no video games and the space encourages a lot of physical interaction in the structure. There are hoops, balls, slides, tunnels, ramps and a wee climbing wall. I enjoyed my time there - and more importantly, the kids, too - but if I were to nitpick: The two coin operated massage chairs have seen their best days some time ago. The two gates at the front controlling entry and exit could have working, quality toddler-proof latches. Both gates swung freely and are only a few feet from the main doors that lead to a busy parking lot and then Route 90. Seems like an easy fix to prevent a potential tragedy. There's a room in the back with some sort of repair/construction going on. There was a piece of plywood barring access, but it didn't seem like enough to me. Still, overall it was very good and I envy a little bit the people who came up with the idea to create this fun, machine to print money...5...
Read moreI have no complaints about the place as stuff and place itself is nice, but today Feb 21 we had to leave before we were planning to because a kid in there (about 4 y.o., bigger body built) kept attacking my 2.5 y.o. daughter and then me. We were in a jumping castle and he would start running towards her and taking her down completely ending up on top of her holding her. She started crying while I was running up to her and then when I was trying to seperate him from my daughter he attacked me. I kept telling him to stop and he would keep attacking us until we made our way out. Also there should be some kind of rule about the cars for kids, as there's not a lot of them, and there was a group of people with an older child who would stand by a car while kid wasn't in it, and my child multiple times tried to get in as she's small and she sees it's empty so she wants to take it. It happened twice that those 2 older women pushed her and told her to go get a different car, I came up and said to stop touching my daughter and they said "to go pick an argument with someone else"...and that they're using a car (they had this car for the whole 2 hours we were there even when kid was not playing with it). I was so anxious by the end of it that we just had to leave. There was only 1 stuff member on site and she was super busy so I didn't want to bother her, there definitely should be some sort of...
Read moreHad an awesome experience taking our boy. He had a blast and we will take him here again despite an issue we did face. I read a comment about how parents and guardians just sit around talking and being on thier phones, not watching the kids. Two FASD boys were left unattended 90% of the time by their two workers who were doing nothing but talking to each other. I went out to do some things in the vehicle when my wife called me, one of those boys took my 2 year old's water bottle and started drinking it. My boy went to try and get it back, the FASD boy then spit the entire water he had in his mouth onto my boy's face and got his shirt all soaked. I had a talk with the two women when I got back, quite unhappy with them. I don't blame the boy, the guardians were just plain lazy and out for an easy cheque. Workers do periodically check on the kids, but parents and guardians who are seen sitting around for long durations should be reminded to keep and eye on their own kids they bring. I have a lot of respect for the parents I've seen actually joining in on their kids fun. This happened Dec 17 around 1:15pm. Review your cameras and keep an eye on those lazy women if ever they...
