Our family had so much fun and I think we are also the first customer of it’s opening too. 🥇
A few things to be prepared for, our city is windy and dusty so expect some of this dust inside the bouncy castle. It’s gonna be hot, so bring your water bottles because there aren’t water fountains within reach. (We left our bag of water just outside the bouncy castle entrance for easy access) There’s some water/lil puddles on the floor that I believe is from cleaning it up, so your socks could get wet and dirty.
If you don’t mind all that then you should give this place a try. We don’t mind the things I’ve mentioned since there is not any place like this in Winnipeg.
We all enjoyed our time and I feel an hour is plenty enough to enjoy the ginormous bouncy castle. I thought with how nice and fun it is, one hour wouldn’t be enough for kids and it would be a nightmare to drag my littles out of the place, but oh no.. they were so bounced out. 😊
We had a 25$ off our price because of their Canada Day promo, so it made the price a lil nicer to our wallet (I understand it is still pricier than going to tinkertown and elsewhere. BUT, seeing the electricity they had to use to pump this place and the bouncy castle’s cost itself. It might be the reason why entrance is expensive. Bottomline, We just want to support a local business and hopefully in the future they can lower the price once they’ve recouped some of the cost in opening their place.
Thanks for the wonderful fun and great time Big...
Read moreThis place is an absolute dump and not as the website advertises. I would have given zero stars if that were possible. Maybe it was better when it was at the old location however now it is placed in a mud lot. When I first drove by I missed it because it looked like a homeless camp.
We had a time booked for 10am for my son's birthday. The website says arrive a half hour early. As we were arriving at 930 we got a phone call from someone whose english I could not understand. The person tried to explain that our appointment was moved to 11. I should mention we live out of town and drove an hour to get there. Now we were expected to wait around an hour and a half because they moved our time slot with no warning. So we parked in a lot next door (cause this dump has no actual lot) and phoned the guy back for our money back. As we looked at the property as mentioned it looked like a homeless camp with wood layed out over the mud "floor", a port-a-poty for a washroom and other tents and tarps spread over. As mentioned the guy on the phone was near impossible to understand and after 6 phone calls finally refunded us. However, then he called again at 950 saying he could open for us in a half hour, at which time I assured him we would never be back.
We ended up going 2 minutes away to flying squirrel and had a 5 star experience.
The big bounce should be shut down. The condition of this place is...
Read moreWhere to start…the “parking lot” is just a rough patch of dirt. We were the only ones there so they had to blow up the structure for us. They let us in through a gap in a chain link fence. The ground is covered in tarps and randomly strewn floor boards and pallets, and there is a tent and a portopotty a few feet away. Everything is screaming homeless camp, except for the bizarre huge inflated playground.
Once on the structure, we discovered patches of dirty water all over the place and random dirty rags strewn here and there. The middle has a huge open hole…intended to be a ball pit perhaps, but only a couple balls and a loose extension cord remain in the 5 foot deep eyesore. Random gaping holes are scattered throughout the bouncer, rips or more likely it’s not set up properly. It was scorching hot when we went as well, and nothing was said to us before going in about being careful on the extremely hot vinyl (we basically had to jump from shadow to shadow to avoid getting burnt).
There are no words to describe the sad, depressing state of this place and I cannot believe they exist as they are surely violating multiple safety...
