Food ok but most of all service needs improving. We were yelled at to pick up a drink at the counter. "Your milk!" The female employee said it loud and purposefully. There were a minimum of 4 staff members not all occupied behind the counter. Staff could have walked the drink over rather than yell through the whole restaurant. There were a total of 11 patrons in the dining area at that time.
When picking up ice cream separately that went along with meals purchase the employee who was making 4 cold treats went to deliver someone else's hot order to them in the dining room. At that point we received 3 of 4 items. It was strange. Another employee could have delivered the hot food or have made the rest of the order. But instead we waited while what we had melted and another employee asked what we were waiting for. We said an item was missing. They person who took to the making of our treats said that they were on it and continued to make the last item. We asked for extra spoons for the kids cones turned upside down in a cup. 3 spoons were stuck in a sundae and handed to us.
Sadly this isn't the first time that I have experienced such behaviour from staff at this same location. Last visit to this location in December I was rudely asked repeatedly, "Do you want the cone with the cup?" I had asked for kid sized ice creams in a cup rather than in a cone. What the employee was meaning to say was do I also want the plain cone to go with it. Before I could have answered the male employee repeated their question 3 times and gave me an eye roll.
When it's work time employees need to behave a certain way to reflect the brand they work for. The staff may be younger and may not have been shown or taught certain values or etiquette at home or school. But when it affects the output of the products and services of your business a manager or owner need to step up.

Read moreI came in to get a Treatzza Pizza and I wanted to get an extra topping on top of the pizza and the girl at the counter said no that is not our policy. From my previous Blizzard orders I know there is a extra topping button so I didn't understand why this was an issue adding more to an order.... Also don't they write on birthday cakes and pizzas? What is the different if I pay for extra caramel. The cashier then said she could check with someone else and he said no.. it will melt the pizza and I could call in and special order this caramel lol.. It's frozen ice cream will it really melt in -30? Again confused. So I asked to see a supervisor and she came over and just simply said it will be $13.50 not even addressing the issue... again confused. Did the cashier not explain the the issue .. I asked if I could add an additional topping to my pizza she said no. So I said can I at least get it on the side? She said sure and proceeded to fill up a whole sundae cup. I might add NOBODY was in line after me... So this wasn't a not having time for it issue... They for sure gave me more than my $1.00 worth in that's sundae cup.. considering I worked at a dairy Queen as my first job, the employees wasted their employers time and money on my request.... So I ask myself.. why dairy Queen don't you want my money and to upsale my order? I want to give you money for extra and I had to ask 3 people and basically pull teeth to get a girl some caramel! Is it really the issue of the ice cream might melt? From a business standpoint every time your employees turn down a extra topping request that is money out of your pocket in the long run... But what do I know I am just a customer! I will not be coming back to this location for my ice cream fix! There is so many better locations like cheban and...
Read moreTasty treats and tasty food under one roof. It's a little more expensive than other places, and if you go for food it's not as fast as others, but the chain owns it with their "fan food not fast food" motto and you'll find that the quality of the food is generally worth your time and while (as I'll explain in a bit). However it is obvious that the employees are worked very hard as they move around all over the place at a dizzying rate, and I can't help but feel that it leaves them prone to making the odd error here and there, which I've been on the receiving end of at least once. That time it was them handing out my order inside to somebody in the drive-thru of all places. They do make a genuine effort though, which is great to see. Speaking of which, during warmer months, some very long drive-thru lineups can form, sometimes even long enough to block the entrance to the one of the Starbucks that's nearby, so you'll want to give yourself plenty of extra time when it's warm. Later on at night I actually quite like how the place is lit. You won't have an opportunity to appreciate it too much during the summer because of the 10:00 PM close, but if you visit in the spring or fall you'll have time to. Being in a strip mall it's not as large on the inside as standalone locations elsewhere, with a small handful of tables. It's certainly not an ideal "chill" location since it can get very loud with the fridges next to you and the treat machinery behind the counters doing their thing at the same time. If you're ordering inside, you'll definitely want to be prepared to speak up so whoever's running the...
