My parents/family have been coming to Seng’s restaurant for years and I’m so sad I have to make this review because it’s not the first or second time they’ve made a mistake with our take out orders. We always make our regular orders of #8 and #9 & for it to be fried noodles instead. That requires a $2-$3 extra charge which we do not mind, we love the fried noodles here. BUT we come home to have all our dishes made with fried rice and NOT fried noodles, so my dad calls seng to complain about the order, that it was made incorrectly once again. And seng tries to make amends by charging us half price next time? I’m sorry but that’s disappointing considering you’re charging us extra to have it made with fried noodles for $2-$3 and it’s your mistake you didn’t make the dish correctly.

My parents are quite upset coming from him when it’s clearly his mistake (he’s also the one on the phone who’s taken the order). Time to get someone more efficient on the phones taking orders because this would probably be the last time we order at this restaurant. We will be contacting them again to make this right… $60-$70 is a lot for your mistakes.

They also need to start letting people tap their own card it almost feels disturbing we have to hand over our card over the counter. That’s a red flag...

Service is too bad but the foods are good, especially the seafood fried rice is the best for me. I've found this place and visited here more than 10 times within a year. But recently i had the worst experience ever.

I was told to wait 20 minutes to sit at the round table with my family members and after 20 minutes of waiting outside, we came back and they said because there is another group waiting for it, we're not allowed to have the table. We asked the server(or manager) that the owner told us to wait 20 minutes and how come they're just giving it away to another group. And their answer was 'ask the boss'.

I did not want to ruin my family dinner so just grabbed any empty table but one of the food wasn't ever served(went wrong table; in front of ours). As i was about to pay at the till, the owner asked 'do you still want your food or cancel it?(they didn't even started to cook until we're done with the other 4 dishes.)'

There was no apologies about anything. Apparently we are so disappointed with the way he is treating customers/managing restaurant. Not sure if I'll be there...

Ordered 4 meals to go and paid in advance. We waited 30 mins and the group that came in after us got their full meal before us. I asked the staff why our orders is taking so long and they looked confused. It suddenly hit them that the orders we placed didn't get passed to the cooks. So we've been waiting for 30 mins for our food that wasn't even placed. Throughout the 30 mins, they didn't even bother to ask us what we were waiting for or if we even placed an order. They gave a quick apology and rushed out our orders. I was expecting some sort of discount for the mistake but oh well, I was just glad to have gotten my orders.

When I got to work, I took a bite of the honey chicken that I ordered and it was so sour that I had to spit it out. I thought it might have been my tastebuds but the acidity in the sauce was too strong. I was expecting the sauce to be sweet but boy was I wrong. All the other orders was pretty good though.

Overall, always ask if your order is being placed and don't order the honey chicken if you're craving something sweet and...

Coming from Vancouver, I got a pretty big, but reasonable standard for food. Yes, a snob. I had the wonton noodle soup and their equivalent of the special fried rice (not pictured). Service is interesting in that I wrote down what I wanted with pen and paper provided, otherwise it was nice and quick. I dig the atmosphere as it took me back to early 2000s Vancouver. The food wasn't as flavourful as I would've liked but it wasn't bad or unappealing (7-7.5/10, personally), and for the prices of $23, I had a meal for 2-3 people. I would definitely recommend it, whether you're local or not, or even coming from the Holiday Inn Hotel. YMMV.

Chinese restaurant that has seen better days. Inside needs to be cleaned up and organized; remodel. Food was hit and miss; ordered once before and was disappointed on the combo and lobster and shrimp. Hardly any meat on the lobster tail. To much sauce as well Went back again and had the Singapore noodles which is fantastic along with the almond shrimp. Almond shrimp is all about the sauce. No flavour without it. Tried the shrimp egg roll and was disappointed; it’s a shrimp wrapped in an egg roll wrapper and fried. Very greasy and no flavour.
