We ordered a large coffee slushy with boba and an extra-large taro slushy with boba, totaling $22. This seemed steep for just two drinks with minimal add-ons (boba was $0.60 each).
Unfortunately, the high price wasn't the only issue. The boba in both drinks was mangled, with many pieces burst or broken, causing clogs in the straw. The slushies had an odd consistency—one was too liquidy, having completely melted, while the other lacked enough liquid.
Additionally, while preparing the large taro slushy, one of the staff realized she was making it incorrectly. Instead of starting over, she poured the partially made drink back into the blender, resulting in an overly liquid slushy.
The staff were not knowledgeable when asked about an allergy, and the facility was noticeably dirty, needing a thorough cleaning.
Given that we spent $22 on just two drinks, we expected a much higher standard of service and quality. Sadly, this was not the case, and we will not be returning unless the prices are reduced or the service and product improve...

However, when I went today just before 10:40pm (late, I know, but I made sure to get there at least 15 mins before closing) the doors were already locked despite it saying its open until 11pm.
I understand that sometimes shops needs to start shutting down before their advertised hours for sanitation purposes and to prep for the next day, but I've never had an issue with any other bubble tea place in the city closing so much earlier than their listed hours without at least a note to say last call is X minutes before closing. When this location opened, there was a couple of staff that were not so friendly but the customer service improved a bit overtime. Have heard of others who complained about rude staff, but It wasn’t until today where I experienced really inappropriate treatment to myself and the person behind me. “What do you want?”, “is that it?”, “what else?”, slamming the counter with the debit machine, the tone used and the impatience for customers ordering is not welcoming or acceptable. Even the person behind me noticed and sincerely asked “are you ok?” and the staff replied with “ya what do you want?” in the same impatient tone. Unfortunate that this experience left a bitter feeling afterwards since my entire family did enjoy some of happy lemon’s drinks.
