INGKO SUSHI — Restaurant in Winnipeg

With the insurgence of the vast number of sushi restaurants in winnipeg we have been on a mission to try as many as we can and have found some that are terrible and some that are ok and then there are some like Ingko Sushi. What can we say other than we thought over the past year that we had found our favourite sushi place until we decided to try this little gem close to home and were so elated at the quality and flavour of the most palatable feast that has been laid in front of us time and time again that we have been here many times now. We can't get enough of this place. The price is right....the sushi is wonderful....the staff are very pleasant and try to please all who come to stay or take out. They have a small quaint seating for those that decide to eat in which makes it quite nice actually as your food is in front of you within a short period of time and its worth that wait. At times i wish they would have a bigger establishment but then i think to myself that it may ruin the quaintness of it. Atmosphere is that of a small restaurant but with the quality of food which mirrors that of a well established and high priced restaurant. You need to come here and get your fill of their amazing sushi which in our eyes at the time of writing this review is our #1 pick...

EXTREMELY small rolls for HIGH prices. INSULTINGLY tiny pieces of meat in already skimpy portions. We are talking half the size of some places like Sushi Cushi and 1/4 the meat with more expensive meats. Missing items with same small portions on separate delivery skipthedishes order. Quality is average. You can literally go anywhere else to get a better deal without even debating location, price, quality, portion size, store seating, and decor, they fail in all. Staff also chatting and laughing loudly in I guess Japanese makes for an awkward pickup while we wait for them to get last items from kitchen area. I have gone a handful of times and always small portions, year goes by try again still....try skip the dishes for coupon....small again and missing items wasting time calling restaurant and skipthedishes (who deeply...

When I came here for lunch, I had an overall positive experience. The waitress that showed me to my seat was very quiet but she was friendly like most other reviews had mentioned.

The service is not traditional as you write down your order on paper. One issue I had was with the platter I decided to order. In the description on the menu it says you can choose 3 regular rolls but it did not mention that you can only choose from the first 8 regular rolls instead of the entire regular rolls section.

My food was presented well and quickly. The "Fire Crunch Roll" was underwhelming but the other rolls...
