Been coming here a few times a year for the last couple years with my mom and it’s always good. Great tasting food, prices are good and fast service. We come in during the weekend and we get the same waitress every time and she’s great. This time around I got the Taco Trio and Garlic Fries and it was delicious as usual. For the appetizers/starters we got a Caesar salad and crispy shrimp and both were good. We spent a little more this time around because we also got the delicious ice cream mud pies for dessert which we don’t normally do. I highly recommend Joey’s if you want some good seafood and good service.

Service was fast, and very friendly. I got the fish and chips which is a classic and this place has one of the best, not overly battered and cooked perfectly. Could’ve had more fries though. Once upon a time at Joeys you got coleslaw included with the fish and chips, shrinkflation will get ya lol. My partner got the salmon which was subpar, it was over cooked, a tad dry and the skin had a pretty strong burnt flavor. A few minutes over cooked. Which was a bit disappointing for a $26 dish. Overall not bad, but honestly your best bet is to stick to what they’re known for, the fish and chips.

I haven't been here for a long time. I suggested it for a family dinner night. The kids enjoyed the fish dinner and the dessert they chose. We enjoyed our meal, I just find it a bit greasy.. Overall it is good. We even enjoyed the 🍟 fries which sometimes is the downfall of the meal. We will come back again hopefully to try other meals on the menu. Joey's famous fish and shrimp was good and the garlic cajun shrimp was cooked nicely.

If I could give a negative I would. Before coming, I checked on the website for the all you can eat Tuesday special for $14.95. It specifically shows this location is included in the Tuesday special. When I arrived, I was told “we don’t do that anymore since the beginning of Covid.” After my dinner, I called another location in the city and asked if they had the special. They said yes and it was for $14.95. Ended up I paid $16.95 for 3 piece fish meal.

In addition, the pieces were smaller… and the table was sticky.

Do not spend your money or time here, go to another location that would appreciate...
