I recently visited King’s Restaurant and ordered the lamb charcoal platter. The dish was accompanied by three salads, one of which, the Turkish salad stood out as exceptional. It was fresh, flavorful, slightly on the spicy side, and perfectly complemented the richness of the lamb. The lamb itself was outstanding: tender, juicy, and cooked with skill, demonstrating the kitchen’s ability to deliver authentic taste and texture. Overall, the food quality was impressive and memorable. That said, there are several areas where the restaurant could enhance the customer experience: Service & Presentation The server was responsive and knowledgeable, able to identify and describe the Turkish salad when asked. Highlighting standout dishes such as the lamb charcoal platter and unique salads directly on the menu could help guide customers toward the restaurant’s strengths. Ambience & Environment The entrance floor felt sticky, which distracted from the otherwise positive dining experience. Cleanliness at the entrance sets the tone for the entire visit and should be prioritized. The interior could benefit from warmer décor or lighting to create a more welcoming and cozy atmosphere. First impressions are powerful in hospitality. Menu & Marketing While the food is strong, the menu design plays a critical role in customer decision-making. A well-structured menu that emphasizes top platters and introduces combo-style deals could both attract new customers and encourage repeat visits. Strategic marketing:through social media, promotions, or highlighting specialty items has the potential to significantly increase visibility and customer engagement.
Overall Assessment
King’s Restaurant delivers excellent food, particularly with its lamb platter and Turkish salad, but operational details such as ambience, cleanliness, and menu strategy hold it back from reaching its full potential. With targeted improvements in presentation and marketing, the restaurant could elevate itself into a standout dining...
Read moreAfter the terrible service we had last night from Yafa Cafe, my family and I decided to give Middle Eastern food another try. And I am so glad that we did. This place is more a pub style setup…modern & spacious. They also stay open until 12:30 tonight (Saturday). I ordered the Shish Taouk platter & it was delicious. The rice wasn’t clumpy, the chicken wasn’t uncooked or burned & it was served with 2 types of salads & hummus. It was simply delicious! My husband & son had the beef shwarma platter which they also enjoyed. But what made our visit memorable was the young lady who served us. She was very pleasant & attentive. But most of all she knew how to keep customers like myself happy. We had noticed that their desserts (multiple pieces) were displayed in boxes & we were hoping to just get a slice but was told that they were only sold in boxes as is. Which we understood & had no problems with. We were quite satisfied with everything so that minor detail wasn’t a big deal. However, she came back & said that there was a box already opened in the kitchen & shared some mini pieces of baklava with us, on the house. Wow! The fact that she still found a way to cater to our craving blew us away. That’s going above and beyond. We felt appreciated as customers. We will...
Read moreSo. Where do I begin... I so desperately wanted to give a negative review, based on my abysmal door dash time of over an hour... maybe even 75 mins. Anyways. I was angry. I was like " this had better be the kind of place that takes long, but is worth it"...I am pleased to say... IT REALLY WAS WORTH THE WAIT! I now know that when I'm wanting to order, I just have to set expectations low on the timeline, other than that...WOW. falafel wrap... just perfect. I think there were pickled beets, man ...so good. Thank you Kings. I'm so very pleased. I NEVER WRITE REVIEWS. If you really want something worth waiting for. This place is beyond reasonable for the taste it delivers! Ps. Also had the hummus. I'm not a hummus guy, but enjoyed it. It came with a chewy pitas bread that was perfectly taste-balanced. Overall, deserving of more than 5 stars. Set your time expectations low, but try this place at least once.*update. Hello. Thanks for replying. I ordered from skip and an confirm that, yes 100% they were faster. This time, I got garlic dip with pitas. Very good. Also ordered the beef shawarma and falafel. All super-delish. So to all considering, please...ignore ratings and believe that this place is legit. Pictured are items paid for and pics....
