I ordered a pork bao bun that wasn’t on the main menu but was posted near the register. I decided to try it because it was something new for me. I’m glad I did because it tasted great and suited my palate. The amount of pork in the bun was just right—not too much and not too little. I’m not a fan of leeks, and they kind of distracted me because I could really taste them, but it was still fine overall. I did have to wait a bit for my order since they made it on the spot, I think, but that actually made it even more delicious. I finished it all and my tummy feels happy. The location of this is in the foodcourt area of Kildonan Place. The price was about CAD 11 for two buns, which seemed fair. Also, the cashier was really energetic and friendly. Will def recommend this.

Food was only okay, but what happened not so much. I ordered the special they had which was teriyaki chicken with a 16 oz drink. I pull out my credit card and it turns out they don't accept that so I pay by debit. After my order is paid for they fill what feels like a 12 oz cup with ice to the brim and the root beer dispenser sprays out syrup only getting it all over my cup and in the drink. They tell me then that the only drink fountain that works is iced tea. They take my paper cup and instead of giving me a new one they just wash it out still sticky on the outside and I am forced into drinking only iced tea, which I was assuming was no free refill anyways. Not very pleasant I feel like if all their fountain drinks were down they could've offered some sort of compensation like a bottle drink. Definitely would not...

I was honestly very disappointed, first time trying Koya. Wanted the rice teriyaki but was told they were out of rice and it was being made so my only option was noodles. I said fine. 2 servings were made with the person that ordered before me. While my meat was cooking the lady come out with the rice. I would have waited for it if the option was given to me. When I tried it it tasted off, made me sick later on too. Will not be going back. The $14 price point was a little high too for what...
