I just came from there it was never a horrible experience, there was about 6 employee, the oldest looking like she was in first year university, not too sure if she was the manager of the rest but she was doing a great job, she's trying to fix issues that are going to be listed below,
The first issue was when I walked in there was a man walking around and ordering food with no shirt on, it's hot outside yes during the season in Winnipeg but it's unacceptable for a restaurant to be serving a person indoors that is violating the no shoes no shirt policy, it goes without saying this is a health and safety issue. The second issue was that a customer ordered a coffee to go in the lid wasn't on all the way from one of the other employees, when she picked up the cup lid came right off and spill coffee everywhere, she complained to one of the employees they did nothing about it, the manager was busy taking because the rest were all incapable in doing so, once the manager was done taking the orders of the people that were in line she corrected the issue right away but still this is not acceptable for regular employees they should have at least apologize and talk to the manager instead of the manager having to deal with the issue. The manager Fix the issue by giving the lady $10 gift card for the restaurant, the lady also complained about a burn from the issue but it wasn't that big of an issue because of burn from what I understand wasn't too severe, this not only is unacceptable Behavior from the established and employees but also is from a legal standpoint, I would argue that the employee that serve the order to the lady show negligence in doing so of having the lid on All the way, the second issue was was that there was hot coffee on the floor in the counter and other employees walk by the issue multiple times while the manager was busy taking orders, in doing so someone could have slipped on the hot coffee and then they could have had another legal issue on our hands if they proceeded to follow up illegally, eventually it was moped up but the issue is that in doing so of the mopping there was no wet floor sign indicating that the floor was wet, this could have been an Ever legal issue if someone did slip on it, regardless of it who did come to the counter eventually, he was in to go bag even though we ask for inside, i'm going to let that one slide because the manager was putting out fires (metaphorically) the whole time we were there and trying her best, another issue is when I was getting my drink after I got my meal to eat inside I spilt a little bit of my drink on the floor by mistake I let one of the people there know that there was a spill on the floor at the drink station and they said they would be right on it to clean it up, after finally finding a table sit down at that was clean I eat and enjoyed my food, I however did not enjoy the experience but as I was leaving i'm putting my trash in the trash can I noticed the spill at the drink staytion was still on the floor after I've been in there for about 25 minutes, this is again not only a leagle issue if an accident did happen but also a health and safety issue. In short below is a list in bullet point form of this franchisees issues that they should know about and that the McDonald's self should know about this established:
Dirty tables not honoring the no shoes no shirt policy health and safety issues regarding spills not making the customer a priority horrible management structure
Enclosing I know this is not an isolated issue and this is an ongoing problem because this is the worst experience I've ever seen at this...
Read moreIf I could give a zero I would. This location has had to be the worst location I’ve ever been to. I went on a drive to get a A drink since I had become thirsty, I gave the lady my code and said it about four times before she actually took it each time she said the wrong number I was already yelling through from the passenger seat of the car, so it was already loud enough in the car, Her responses instead of pardon me was what! Again, if she didn’t hear me, she could’ve said it. I ordered a large cook and said just give us one moment. She said is that everything for you and we said no just a moment please and then she said OK large Coke next window. I didn’t understand why she kept saying it because she repeated it multiple times. Then I said, can I get a small Sprite, and then she repeated to say next window? Like what? I said I was placing another order and she said next window again, we tried To make two transactions which she wouldn’t approve of. Then we told her OK we’ll just go to the next window to order the rest of her stuff so we drove up and we came to the worst person I have ever encountered. The driver of the car was saying that we wanted to make two orders we also ordered a Sprite and she’s sorry there’s no Sprite and so we ordered a orange Fruitopia; she continued to roll her eyes at us and then said can we please make another order which we were trying to do with the next window she kept saying, huh or what instead of actually taking that said order it came down to being like you wanna make another order she looked dead at me and rolled her eyes And we couldn’t even handle it anymore that we said never mind it’s fine so we only got the two drinks she handed the drinks really disrespectfully and I wish I had gotten her name because I think that this location needs to reevaluate their workers. I never go to this location, which I’m grateful for, but I had to because we were stopping for Something to drink on our way back, which this location was the only one that we had on the way. Even the last time I went there, they were all rude and they didn’t have any manners either way, so please...
Read moreWhy I would even give this so called"restaurant" a star is beyond me, but here we are. I have nothing against Mcdonalds let me tell you this. I have been there many times over much like anyone. Now 30 minutes in a drive thru, seems pretty lengthy right? Multiple that wait by cold burgers, old, stale french fries, and there you have a recipe for disaster, and a customer going back into the establishment. It was here inside that I lost all hope with this cause. As when I was asked what was wrong I told them exactly what was listed here. What was this "Swing Managers" response? We don't do refunds, and the owner needs to be here for that. Are you kidding me? I asked for the managers name, and number. Here's his name, and we don't give out his number. Ok, so i'm suppose to wait for someone who will almost guarantee not call me back to remedy this situation. That's nice! Then I was given a ton of attitude from the "swing manager" who sat there and smiled at me while doing absolutely nothing to help me. He didn't recommend anything, offer anything, not even ask to replace the meal, nothing.... Literally sat there and smiled at me as I explained what just happened, and why I am not happy. To an establishment that I am giving money to I expect to be given the quality of food that I paid for. With a bill exceeding 20$ for two meals I think I deserve that. Not impressed. I left the entire bag of food on the counter. After this situation I went to Gateway's Mcdonalds. Know what I got? Hot fires, and burgers....
