My Wife and I ordered pizza from this location. It said that it would be ready in about 30mins for pick up. We ordered around 5:45-50ish. Drove down to the location and arrived around 6:30ish. Which is way more than the thirty minutes. Came in and asked to pick up the food that we ordered, they said it hasn’t even been started. I saw that they were busy, so I let it go. I asked them to change it to delivery instead and changed some items on the order since it wasn’t even started yet. I asked her for an ETA, she said 30mins and give or take another 45mins for delivery. I said great, went home and waited with my Wife. That was at 6:40pm. It was already 8:15pm and they still haven’t delivered the pizza. So I call the location 5 times!! 5 times and it went to their voice mail or their robotic operator. Frustrated, I drove down to the location again to check up on our order. Turns out other customers have been waiting 2 1/2hrs or more for their orders. Some have been waiting even longer than my Wife and I have! That is ridiculous! My Wife was waiting in line to get into the store to ask about our order. Then I got the phone call from the driver saying he was outside my house. I was frustrated and almost cancelled the order, but tried my best to understand the position the driver is in. He is just the driver. I told him to wait outside our house and we will meet him there in about 5-8mins. We told the driver we did not want to pay for delivery since it took way longer than what we were told without even being updated or notified for any delays. We were still going to tip the driver, it was just the delivery fee we did not want to pay for. So the driver called the manager informing the manager that we did not want to pay for the delivery. The manager then told the driver that if they don’t pay for the delivery fee it will come out of his own pay. And if the driver doesn’t pay for it. Then he would get fired. THAT IS INSANE. THAT IS SO STUPID. WHAT KIND OF A MANAGER IS THAT. Clearly a manager that is not fit to run a branch! That is so outrageous! So we just paid for everything and tipped the driver generously for having to deal with us hangry and frustrated.
I hope this gets to the franchisers or to corporate, because this is not the kind of image you want to put out for your brand. I would know, because I used to work for a Pizza Hut as well. But of course, that was well managed...
Read moreI placed an order about a month ago and I made a formal complaint about it but nobody ever contacted me about it. Domino's at least takes all of their complaints seriously. Anyway, here's what happened!
My fiance ordered the triple treat box. I had asked for the cheese lovers pizza but there was no option to ask for extra sauce. I called the store right after he placed the order and they immediately put me on hold. I was left on hold for 15 minutes while driving to the store from my work. I hung up and called back but this time the lines were all busy. I got to the store and told the person I wanted extra sauce on my cheese pizza. He told me it would be an extra 25 minutes, I waited for about an hour and a half until I finally got my order. I got home and not only did I have no extra sauce on my pizza, I also got next to no sauce on my wings and my cookie was burnt! Probably the worst order I have ever had from Pizza Hut.
Also while I was waiting in the store I overheard the manager tell another employee to put the phones on hold and only deal with the customers in the front.. yet we had all been helped and were waiting for our orders. I watched the CSR fold boxes and continue to neglect the phone calls.
I miss the Jarvis location as they were always on top of everything and they only messed up my order once but sent out a new pizza right away. This location has literally messed up my order every single time.
The reason for this review is that I just tried to place another order online and I called to add extra sauce and I was on hold for 10 minutes, which nobody actually answered and asked me to hold they picked up my call and immediately put me on hold. By the time the girl picked up she tried to tell me my order was already dispatched?! How in the world did she manage to make my pizza and have it out the door in 10 minutes? Not possible considering wait times online are over 40 minutes. She literally just didn't want to have to change my order. Maybe if they actually answered their phones they wouldn't have to remake orders.
I love Pizza Hut, but if my order comes wrong again today, I will never order from this location again, and likely Pizza Hut in general considering there's no other...
Read moreLet me start off by saying, we USED TO order from Pizza Hut when it was in the old Northgate location. We had only previously ordered once from its newer location in the strip where it is now. The most recent dining experience was on Sunday October 13th, 2024. Pizzas ordered and delivered to an address only about 2 blocks away. Almost $90 worth. Thin crust etc. What a disappointment this was! Almost devoid of decent sauce which of course, was bland, flavourless crust, burnt edges of that crust AND thin, dried-out slices of pepperoni etc. This place must have either newer employees or those they do have, really aren't concerned with putting out a quality product. You'll know where you delivered to: Atlantic avenue (so look it up) and that it took THREE PHONE CALLS FROM YOU to finally get it all right (for at least the order and the location, advising the amount for the delivery charge(??) etc.). WE all thought to ask but maybe we're too polite: "are you morons, you can't get all of the information during that first receipt of a call and then just get on with making our order and focusing on getting it right?" YOU called us back twice too many more times! We will NOT order from you again and many others we have had discussions with about this particular location, ALL agree that it is now NOT the place to order pizza etc. from. The last time we ordered was approx. 2 years ago and right around the same time of year and although it wasn't that bad, it certainly was nowhere near what the former Pizza Hut used to dish out. Cutting corners, lack of flavour and the like is why in the future it'll definitely be (even) Pizza Pizza or Little Caesars and maybe even Domino's.
