What can I say, these folks know how to do steak. Unfortunately for me, I'm celiac so need to be careful. They have a few gluten-free items on the menu and many more that can be modified to be GF. My steak was medium, the perfect temp on my plate, and I'm fairly certain we didn't talk during the meal, but we definitely enjoyed them. The significant other has lobster. She was in heaven. We skipped dessert. The only downside, and it really wasn't, was that there was a lineup, and the hostess stated we might be waiting 45 mins without a reservation. We were only waiting about 20mins while we enjoyed our Mushrooms Neptune appetizer at the bar (GF, they didn't have the potato puffs, GF on the menu), and our wine pairings were perfect. Bonus: AWESOME bar staff and table service! Four stars for the atmosphere is how hectic it seemed. Tight spacing and constantly moving with purpose staff, detract from a relaxing environment, but that's not anyone's fault. Maybe because we were on the 'bar side' once seated at our table. Also not a place for those who might be watching their budget. We had a gift card and easily doubled that.

I can’t tell you how sorry I am to have to write this review. I took my brother and sister to the keg for a celebration. I chose the restaurant because I had been here before and absolutely loved it. Which is why it was so disappointing to have the experience that we had. The ambiance as usual was very good and the baked potato I had was good. That’s about all the Pros I can come up with on this occasion. All of our steaks (all three of us had one) Were very chewy and not as tender as medium rare should be. The flavour and the seasoning was spot on, but the steaks took some effort to eat . The jumbo shrimp that my brother and I had were very tasty but rubbery . I must admit the vegetables were cooked to perfection mind you. Even the Caesar salad seemed watery compared to the last time I had had it . And to add insult injury, our server was very inattentive. So any concerns we had were not promptly addressed. The worst part of this whole experience was the fact that I chose this restaurant and was bragging about how much they would love it. I haven’t been to this restaurant in a couple of years and I can’t believe how much the experience has changed. I may go to The Keg in the distant future, but not this location.

Was welcomed with a waiter that seemed to love his job. Amazing! We were treated so well by Rob. He knew his stuff. Despite the fact that he was super busy, he managed to keep my water glass full. He kept in contact with us and honestly... one of the best wait staff that has ever served me. He will bring me back to The Keg. Drinks were amazingly tastefull. My husband had a ceaser and I had Basil Lemonade Gin..... wow.... to die for! I need that on tap at my kitchen sink! Food was prepared perfectly. My steak was cooked to my liking.... bearnaise sauce was an excellent sauce to smother my Steak Oscar with. Dessert was creme brulee! Or I should say Creme Brulee done right! As for atmosphere, I was a bit chilly and had to ask for my second drink to be light on the ice. If that's the only critic of this place.... I cannot complain. GO TO THE KEG!

Had a great anniversary dinner with our tween daughters. The menu hasn’t charged much over the years but we were happy to see our classic favourite - the Sirloin Oscar, grilled to perfection! Main reason we gave 4 vs 5 stars was because adding a chicken breast to a Caesar salad cost an extra $16! But sadly that’s likely due to inflation, just seems a bit over priced for a simple grilled chicken breast. Other than that the food and service was 5 Stars, and when the waitress found out it was our anniversary she brought a complementary Billy Miner Pie even without us asking, a classic favourite that never disappoints. Likely one of my favourite restaurant desserts city wide!
