Chicken panini was great, but unfortunately the fries were undercooked. Bangers and mash and Caesar salad were good. The side of gravy was $3, but it only tasted like a liquid roux, disappointing. Service is slow, but it’s Sunday and we’re not in a rush.

Enjoyed a Sunday afternoon in St Jacob's. Stopped by The Pub, for a relaxing drink on the patio. Top notch service from Jad. Place had a nice selection of drinks and ambience at very reasonable prices. Highly recommend.

It's cool that the 3 places are all connected, restaurant, pub, bakery/store. We enjoyed our food and bought some much stuff from the store including alcohol, pepperoni sticks, jarred foods, and amazing baked goods.

Okay so I didn't actually get to dine here because of the absolutely unbelievably rude, disrespectful and dismissive staff! My parents and I walked in to find noone at the door to greet us. One girl was sitting at the bar eating a plate of food with her back to us and there was a cleaning lady pushing a cart of dirty dishes. We didn't know what to do so went out to the patio where we wanted to sit, and there were maybe 2-3 customers seated there with a waitress talking to them. We tried for a good 5 minutes straight to make ourselves at least seen but the waitress would not look at us no matter what. She wasn't even taking any orders; we were standing close enough beside her to hear she was just talking about leisurely stuff with two gentleman at the table. Not knowing if we should sit down or not (because there was no sign or person telling us to wait to be seated) we just stood there, awkwardly for ages, wondering if she would ever notice us. My mom and I walked back in and asked the cleaning lady who had just come out of the restroom, if we should seat ourselves. She very rudely told us, "Talk to the girl at the front". My mom said to her, "There's no one at the front since we came in". The cleaning lady rudely then pointed to the girl sitting eating at the bar who was engrossed in her phone and not even looking up. Even when the cleaning lady told us to ask her - the girl heard and still didn't bother looking away from her phone to seat us or anything!!! We then went back to find my dad who had already sat down at a table behind the waitress who was still chit chattering away, not even paying attention to anything else. At last, she turned and we asked if it was okay that we were sitting there, and she just said, "Yeah". At this point we were just so astonished at this level of service (or lack thereof) that we eventually just got up to leave, saying we'd just try another place across the street. The cherry on top was when we were heading back to the exit, we crossed paths with the waitress who was finally coming with menus and we told her that we were just going to leave. She put her voice SUPER high pitched and fake and screeched sarcastically, "Well I Hope you have a GREAT DAY!!!!" It was like we were deliberately being insulted honestly, it was so incredibly rude we were so humiliated walking out and we shouldn't have been the ones to feel that way. Shame on the staff and the owners for allowing this. It would have been our first time at this place and definitely I will be telling everyone about...

Edited to add: I reached out to the manager on 5 August, as requested in their response to initial review. Crickets. Certainly not what I would call loving "the chance to speak with you and find a way to restore your trust in us." Same crap service that made me want to write a 1 review in the first place. Trust in them is nil .....

Lovely pub right in downtown St. Jacobs, but the service could not have been worse. We were seated faily quickly at an outside table. After that, no one gave us a second look. It was a 38degree day, and we were not even offered water. We approached servers twice to ask for assistance as we were ready to order. Each time told someone would be "right there". Guests at a table near us also asked their server to look after us when they were paying, as they saw we had not yet been served. Nothing. When the table that arrived 10 mins after us was being served (they also had water and cutlery as soon as they were seated - we did not), it was time to leave. We did mention to the bartender on the way out that we had been waiting over 15 mins and had not been acknowledged. He did apologize, but his tone and demeaner said he really could not have cared less. Would...

We stopped to the The Pub by Stone Crock for a drink before we headed back out. The pub was extremely busy but the atmosphere was exciting as people, patrons and staff were just engaged and having fun in a great place. Jad our host was amazing the pub was FULL! But, Jad made us comfortable was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Had recommended some pull pork on our nachos.. Well these are some of the BEST Nachos we have ever had and we thought we had found some of the best ever in Europe. Well Canada we are still the GOAT of nachos.. the Nachos with the pulled pork were AMAZING!! I would recommend that any one coming to St. Jacob stop by and have what we consider the Best Nachos you will Ever have.. the secret sauce (you need to try yourself) is the trick…. Congrats on...
