Naida was recommended to me by a local from Boa Vista as a very nice and one of the oldest restaurants on the island. I very much liked: - very authentic and local experience - Tuna was very tasty - Banana bread was delicious - staff was friendly and happy for small talks The only downside was that the portions could be bigger. Keep in mind that the atmosphere is very basic but authentic. Nothing fancy but if you are looking for the touristy stuff you are wrong here. If you want to go local, give it a try!

Went twice. Clearly a proper local restaurant unlike all the Italian and other tourist traps. The lady was kind and helpful. Right on the main square. Food was good with a selection of rice and vegetables to make it a proper home cooked meal. My second stop was late on a Sunday night and about to close and may just be the best meal I ever had. Pork chops, rice and courgettes freshly cooked. The family that run it must truly care about people wanting to return. I certainly will.

First impression was a little bit like "okayyyy?" but: blown away by the taste and quality of food, served by very friendly staff. Want fancy food? Not for you. Want great, tasty food at descent prices? This is your place!

Donc, Naida = arnaque = tabou...
