Very disappointed. My family dined at this restaurant and we advised the waiter about my family member having a severe nut allergy. Apparently one of the beverages had traces but we ended up having to leave the restaurant in haste, flying thru traffic and putting the rest of my family in harms way to reach the hospital where we spent the rest of the day trying to ensure that my family member could breathe….I called the restaurant the next day and spoke to the Manager ensure that this would never happen to anyone else again. However, from the response given it would appear that they didn’t see where the nut exposure could have been from their restaurant. I would say that the restaurant manager was empathetic and concerned but not enough that it would be taken seriously. It’s ashamed because my family likes it there but I would have strong reservations about...

Decided to try this place that is about a 5 minute walk from our condo rental. So glad we did. We’d been craving a club sandwich and Bonfire served up one of the best I’ve ever had. It was served very from with a tossed salad. The sourdough bread was very fresh with nice chewy crusts. The fillings of turkey, cheese, bacon, tomato and lettuce were plentiful and also fresh. It was a delicious lunch for CI 13 each. We will be back to try their pizza and their breakfast. Two thumbs up.

Just to add we’ve had their pizza and caesar salad which was also outstanding and today, Valentine’s Day we went for club sandwiches again and they were just as delicious!! Our lovely waitress brought us a piece of key lime pie to wish us Happy Valentine, such a...

I was taken a back by the atmosphere. Truly, it lives up to the urban decor namesake. However that is where what differentiates this dinner ends. The menu seems like a replica of any other restaurant 2 minutes away. It just does not seem to do anything more or better than anyone else. I wondered why the place remained relatively vacant whereas other places require reservation. Now I know.

My honest suggestion is for the owners to distinguish themselves in their menu by specializing in something or anything that gives you a reason to choose Bonfire above the many options. Even the touted signature Bonfire pasta was unfortunately average.

All in all, an average experience is what you will get from Bonfire's...

The Bonfire Urban Kitchen in the Cayman Islands is the top choice due to its exceptional food flavors, generous portion sizes, and reasonable prices. Whether you're a fan of seafood, local cuisine, or international dishes, this restaurant has something to offer for every palate. As a traveler, I find it challenging to find food that reminds me of home while still expanding my culinary experiences. The chef and the staff work harmoniously to provide all guests with cuisine that is mostly known only to locals and expats. This restaurant is not only for the guests of the hotel but also a meeting place for all to enjoy locally sourced Cayman cuisine.

My ten year old son and I stayed at Locale and frequently ate here for breakfast and dinner. My son really enjoyed the menu, and ate like a king!! The selection is sufficiently varied, tastes good and reasonably priced (for Cayman). The ambiance is modern, low key and cozy. Service was great and we particularly liked our server (Muthu - sorry for spelling!!)
