Exceptional Experience at Lloyds Smokehouse and Grill

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to express my sincere gratitude following a recent visit to Lloyds Smokehouse and Grill. I had dinner with a friend at your establishment, and I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish.

Firstly, the restaurant itself is truly a hidden gem. The ambience was magical, striking the perfect balance by not being overcrowded or rushed. The atmosphere created a wonderful setting for our evening.

The food was absolutely on point. Each dish was delightful, showcasing the skill and care put into the menu. However, what truly set the evening apart was the impeccable service provided by Jules. From the moment we arrived, Jules made us feel incredibly welcome and at ease. Her knowledge of the menu was impressive, and her suggestions were spot on, enhancing our dining experience.

I would like to extend a special note of thanks to Jules for her honesty and kindness. Unfortunately, I accidentally left my cross body bag containing my wallet and passport at the restaurant. Jules went out of her way to locate me and return the bag personally. This act of integrity and care truly made our night special and is deeply appreciated.

Garbage.

Food was day old (or at least tasted that way). We tried most of the menu. Brisket was poor (dried out, over salted, weak flavour), beans were gross, corn was like cardboard, onion rings were almost raw (and poorly seasoned), au jus was like melted brown crayons in luke warm water. Chicken was ok (but had been cooked long ago and reheated in a microwave), broccoli was dry as a bone and tasted like it had been cooked hours before. Fries were the only decent thing.

Service was sad (slow as molasses and disengaged) and our waiter lied to us about when/how the food was cooked.

Atmosphere is very cool but is a shame the food and service is a zero.

We were polite, friendly, tipped well and left, never to return.

There are a ton of other places to eat. My advice? Find one of them.

I believe that the response you were looking for was “sorry you had a negative experience”, but not everyone can have manners, I guess.

After reading all of the reviews I, too, was quite surprised at how bad the food was. Nonetheless, the food was terrible, and so was the service.

Maybe this was just an off day, from the looks of the comments, that seems likely.
