Quite literally the worst dining experience I have ever had. We visited for the All-you-can-eat BBQ, all the meat was cold and had been sat on the cold grill for who knows how long. The chicken leg I had both tasted and smelt spoilt, and left me feeling sick for quite some time after just a bite. We were sat canal-side and understand that the weather/time of day can bring around flies, however we were literally swarmed. They were all over the food, our cutlery and we spent more time fanning them away than eating. I have been to other outdoor eateries and not struggled with that many flies! It was truly a terrible dining experience and we left hungry as we could not finish our food. We reported our experience to the manager. I’ve been to waterfront lots as I like their food. However I went there today as I wanted a poutine as they have a really good one. When it comes I start eating, not paying attention and bite into a piece of moldy cheese that does not taste good at all. After inspecting the rest of my meal there are several pieces of moldy cheese. So I requested a new one. However this new one came with moldy cheese as well. Less than the first one but you could clearly see green spots on the cheese. I didn’t want to complain anymore. Told the waiter and they said the cheese isn’t moldy that’s just how it is.
