This restaurant was recommended to me by a staff of another highly ranked restaurant which had an event tonight when I wanted to have dinner.
Long story short is, I was so satisfied with everything at Amukan, the food is just fantastic, I had ceviche a few times during the past 10 days while travelling in Chile, and this ceviche trio is the best, event better than the one I had in Peru. The creamy soup of the day is so delicious, I had the house wine which is fabulous.
The staff is friendly, the service is excellent.

(I had A thin crust pizza with meats, and merken (ground Aji, the Chilean /Peruvian mild red pepper), with oregano. Five stars due to the quality food. The atmosphere is a little simple, but this is more of a place for local people. The staff were so so courteous. Aparently, “Amukan” means ‘travelers’ in Mapuche language....
