This is my favorite place for dinner and show in Santiago and all of Chile. We paid $40 USD in Buenos Aires for a tango show without food. This show was, in some ways, better. There was a band playing soft music when we arrived. Then, there was a singer. Then, the band and dancers entertained fir an hour or more. They dance Chilean dances from the Northern, Southern, Central, and Easter Island regions of Chile. At least 4 or 5 costume changes for the 6 or 8 dancers. After the show, the dancers dance with the audience members. The band continues after that playing music for dancing and many couples do dance. You do not pay for this. My parents went to Chile a couple of years ago and went to this restaurant, where they took a picture sitting at the table with three waiters at the back. To their surprise, when they arrived back home they noticed that one of the waiters was giving the finger for no reason whatsoever. You can argue that the restaurant can't be blamed for their employee's behavior 100% of the time. But they wrote a letter to the restaurant telling about it and included a copy of the photo. Tuve la oportunidad de ir en octubre, para el día del profesor. El lugar es bonito, decorado de forma tradicional. El show de los bailarines es precioso. Presentan bailes de la zona norte, centro y sur. Sin embargo, la acústica del lugar deja mucho que desear. Desde nuestros lugares no podíamos entender lo que se estaba cantando o distinguir los instrumentos, que no estaban correctamente ecualizados, ni tampoco ver de forma íntegra el show, ya que un pilar nos tapaba la visión. La comida es lo normal para este tipo de eventos: carne asada con acompañamiento de ensaladas y papas fritas. La carne llegó muy cruda en algunos casos, aún no llegaba a su punto, y al solicitársele a algún mesero si podía cocinarse un rato más, se llevó los platos de mala manera, trayéndolos media hora más tarde. El encargado de servir las bebidas fue muy amable con todos, supongo que la atención depende mucho de la suerte. El postre, almendrado helado, de estas cajas de marcas conocidas que puedes comprar en un negocio. Después del show empezó la música bailable.
