Another Hound Cafe (The Southside) — Restaurant in undefined

Awful services and little respect from staffs.

I placed an order for a main dish and a dessert, then patiently waited for a while. After 30 minutes, I followed up once. A staff member kindly assured me she would check on my order, but I received no further response. I followed up again with another staff member about 5-10 minutes later, emphasizing that after almost 45 minutes, not a single dish or drink had been served.

The staff member, who wore glasses and was approximately 5'10" tall, said he would check on my order. However, the most disappointing part was he spoke to himself loud enough for me to hear, suggesting that my follow up was exaggerated as I have yet to waited for 45 minutes. Did he imply that (1) my follow-up was unreasonable and (2) I should expect to wait 45 minutes for a tom yum soup?

This lack of respect for his job, the company, and customer service is troubling. Given that my bill exceeded $200 for one person, it is reasonable to expect a minimum level of service and respect.

It’s unfortunate as the Greyhound restaurants have always been good. Another Hound is an apt name for this location as you should look for “another” place. Ordered Hainan Chicken lunch set, which had a star next to it, and the chicken was dry and the rice was super oily and cold in the middle.
