It was supposed to be my second visit today, as my first visit was quite pleasant. However, I think one of the female staff today on duty may require further training in communication skills.
It’s an extremely hot day today, and although I have been waiting for half an hour, I don’t mind waiting as this is one of the trendy spots for coffee breaks.
When I asked the staff if any customers could possibly be leaving soon, she replied in Cantonese, “邊個呀” and “人地尼左一陣㗎咋”. The frown on her face made me wonder if I had upset her with my questions.

Read moreWe’ve ordered the ham and cheese breakfast with a side of scrambled egg, the pasta alla vodka from the special, Mont Blanc which is also from the special, lemon tart, a hojicha latte with oat milk and a osmanthus lemonade.
The osmanthus lemonade was surprisingly good; the pasta was cooked just right and the sauce is very rich. I’m not a big dan of scrambled eggs but I pleasantly enjoyed the scrambled eggs with the warm and crispy le roll. Both Mont Blanc and lemon tart were not too heavy nor sweet.
