An eatery for the working class in the district. Besides the set meals, bread and tarts were freshly baked. Quality of food was satisfactory. Simple dishes were listed in the menu. Tickets were bought at the counter near the entrance. The food was delivered to your table. The price was a bit over average but the quantity was more, making it worth the price. Lotus root was not recommended because it was not cooked for a long time to soften the texture and let the root absorb the sauce well. Cooked taro was better. Pork chop was a good choice. I was looking for a different place when I stumbled across this eatery. Cashiers were helpful (order before you sit down). You get a number tent from cashier. Find your table next. It appears that some tables are reserved for local factory workers when they are on lunch break. If it’s not full, it’s ok to sit at these tables. Tables and surfaces were clean.
