⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐This is a highly recommended restaurant by a friend, whose food is of high quality. We ordered many signature dishes. Peko Plate Peko - Big portion! Baked Scallop - A large scallop topped with Parma ham and mushrooms, served with a creamy sauce. This dish is my favourite! Seasonal Seafood Platter - Fresh Fruit Salad - It features a variety of fruits, providing a fresh taste that we have never experienced before. Pumpkin Pottage and Onion Soup with Tine Brunost - Above average, they're creamy and sweet. Australian Blue Mussels in White Wine Cream Sauce - This is not my cup of tea, but all of my friends agreed that it's excellent, especially the sauce. Slow Cooked Beef Cheeks with Baked Bone Marrow - The beef is tender, mixed with the potato mash, and the sauce is a perfect match! Beef Wellington - The outside is crispy and fluffy. The beef is medium-well, but it's a little salty, so I don't need to add the sauce. Uni Sauce Charcoal Udon - The Salmon Roe was A grade, and the sauce adheres well to the udon. The udon is shaped like spaghetti, but its texture is more chewy and elastic. I like this size because it allows the udon to adhere to more delicious sauce. Excellent! Fried Rice - It uses Japanese rice with a Thai-style taste (I'm not sure about the sauce). It's surprising to me that we never experienced. Mango Colada - It's silky coconut jelly on top, smooth coconut mousse and cream in the middle, and a grainy coconut lime crumble at the bottom. The multiple textures with coconut are a great try. Coconut Pineapple Parfait - This dessert evokes a summer feeling and offers a multi-textured ice cream experience. If the coconut tuile were crunchier, it would be great.
👍🏻Food: Serving creative fare, plus drinks and dessert. The food is fresh, delicious, and served with generous portion sizes. The price is a bit pricey, but considering the quantity, quality and original creation, it's worth a visit!
👍🏻/👎🏻 Service: Before I made a booking, I found some reviews complained about the service provided by the staff. I met a waitress (the only one) who was rolling her eyes at us; she wore a long face the whole night. The server was rude, and her attitude was insulting. On the other hand, the other staff members are amicable, very polite, and provide good service. Although the new waitress was inexperienced, she managed to remain courteous and helpful. I highly appreciate her. Overall, they have a good service, if without the black sheep!
👍🏻Atmosphere: The space is essential for me. In Hong Kong, you are usually very close to the following table. This place was cosy, with comfortable seats and good conversation. There is plenty of space between the tables, so it's a peaceful environment. There was plenty of sofa seating, making the space suitable for gatherings of couples or large groups of friends. Additionally, there is an outdoor area that is pet-friendly.
I searched and couldn't find an updated menu online. After I ask, they change the menu frequently; therefore, they need more time to update the menu online. It would be great for the guests if it had an updated...

My husband and I went for the $768 two-person set menu, which was a true feast. It came with welcome drinks, salad, appetizers, soup, mains, dessert, and even two coffees or teas!
🍄 Mushroom Cappuccino The name alone caught our attention! It turned out to be a deliciously creamy mushroom soup with just the right hint of truffle. Perfect for anyone who loves a rich mushroom broth.
🥗 Stone Fruit Salad This salad was a refreshing mix of greens, Parma ham, figs, grapes, and blueberries, all tossed in a tangy balsamic dressing. Light, fruity, and exactly what you need to kickstart your appetite.
🐟 Smoked Salmon When they brought this out, the salmon was covered with a glass dome filled with smoke 🌹✨ Inside, the smoked salmon was shaped like a rose and paired with couscous and caviar. Both the flavor and presentation were spot on.
🍜 Uni Charcoal Udon (+$28) The udon was jet black, like squid ink pasta, with a soft, chewy texture. The Hokkaido sea urchin sauce was creamy, and the Canadian uni and salmon roe on top added a touch of luxury. No fishy taste at all, making the $28 add-on totally worth it!
🦐🥩 Grilled King Prawn and Beef Tenderloin with Port Wine Sauce The king prawn was grilled beautifully, and the medium-rare beef tenderloin was tender, though a bit light on beef flavor. Paired with a slightly sweet red wine sauce and cheesy, buttery veggie-potato cakes, the textures were satisfying.
🍵 For dessert, we couldn’t resist ordering the Yuen Long-exclusive Kokedama (+$58). It looked like a seaweed ball, but the texture was more like a mung bean cake with a matcha powder coating. Inside was sake custard and pistachio paste. Sadly, we were too full to finish the whole thing.
If you’re celebrating a birthday or anniversary, be sure to let the staff know! They’ll write a cute message on your dessert plate and even snap a Polaroid for you to take home. Such a fun...
Read moreTo be honest, I was attracted by an IG post about this place. the water flowing through one of the table was pretty interesting. I didnt really research more into the place and what kind of food they serve just kind of went for it.
Atmosphere was not bad. This was just before Christmas so it was pretty packed, even with a booked table we still had to wait a little bit. While we waited we contemplated on what to eat and compared the set dinner to a la carte prices and wasnt impressed on the options and prices. We ended up ordering the deluxe set which seem to offer more.
Food was ok. It was meant to be made pretty flashy and IG worthy. They also took a while to serve the mains as well. They had this appetizer which was served in a dome filled with smoke, which was suppose to provide some smoked aroma, but it was just all for show. You cant even smell any smoke flavor. The salad was just garden greens with canned fruits which lacked any effort. Both the mushroom soup and onion soup was good, esp the onion soup. It has some sweet smoked cheese on top which went well together and was pleasantly surprise. After a long wait the uni pasta came which, to me, was extremely fishy and wasnt fresh tasting, but my friend absolutely enjoyed it. I only had a few bits and gave the rest to my friend. After the pasta, the foie gras and tenderloin came. The beef was nice and tender, but the foie gras was just bland. The texture was all wrong too, instead of being nice and tender, juicy, and soft, this one felt hard and stiff. I guess I was expecting too much. After the mains, it was time for dessert. We ordered the chocolate lava and was extremely disappointed to find it was a chocolate muffin instead. It was extremely overcooked. At that point it was getting late and we didnt feel like waiting another 15-20 mins for them to remake it so we just ate it, finished the included wine and drink and left. It was a good experience but doubt I will...
