This shop serves dessert famous for its taro ball (taro grinded into paste then shape up into small balls about 1/4 inch diameter size).
This is a kind of dessert popular in Taiwan nowadays, and is diffferent from the traditional Cantonese dessert nor the nowadays dessert shops serving merely mixed fruits, syrup and ice.
Reasonable price, delicately prepared.
Usually a bit of wait outside shop, longer wait on holidays. Street parking widely available. Cash only , maybe Octopus...
Read moreOnly been there once. We ordered #1(仙草百配), #7(椰汁紅豆沙), #12(西米露) Taro ball, sweet potato ball was ok, just not chewy enough. #1, #7 were way too sweet for me and my mum. Bought a bottle of water in seven eleven right away when we get out. #12 was not chill enough.
Better come in 2 people instead of 4 people. The manager gives away a four people table to other pairs instead of us. If we were not asking. We would have been waited for ever. (was the first group of 4 waiting, #6, at the end, we could only get the table that the manager originally wanted to assign to a group of 3 with #12).
Would definitely go to other dessert place in sham Shui po....

We had their most famous dessert (Item no.1 on their menu) and item (6), a dessert made from soy and tofu. Both were decently good. The chewy mini dumplings were nice, tho the chewing got a little tiring after awhile.
