Shaan Curry and Kebab — Restaurant in Kowloon

First time visit, I am pleasantly surprised ! I planned to visit a steak house nearby, but change my mind on the last minutes. This place is clean and well lit, clean and there is a big aquarium full of fish. A free appetizer was offered once sat down. Being a steak lover I ordered the steak set, which include soup, salad, nann bread or riceand curry sauce. The steak took a bit of time to arrived well after I finished the soup, which I thought, at first, was annoying. (more on this later). The soup was typical but still nice, the naan bread was hot to touch when served, the curry sauce was slightly flat for my taste,(my wife choice of weak flavor). The salad was just OK, perhaps prepared a little while ago. The steak finally came and it is juicy, tender and delicious. It was covered in a thin layer of spice. I ordered mine medium but it came as medium well but nonetheless I still enjoy every bite. The friendly owner(?) came when I finished and we have a little chat about the food, he then show me how the steak was cooked, it was cooked in a grill, not on a hot plate! No wonder it took longer than usual to serve the steak. It was a wonderful experience and I will definitely go again with...

I am very easy to please when it comes to Indian food but this place failed. It's honestly the first time I not only didn't enjoy the food but also threw it in the trash. It was a delivery order but they forgot the Paneer Makhani so I had to call them and Deliveroo to have it brought. The Jeera rice was not Jeera rice but instead some simple, short-grained white rice with cumin seeds.There was a short black hair inside the styrofoam package but I took it out and tried to move on with my meal. The dahl was very watery and seemed to have been cooked with little to no ghee. The Garlic Naan was good but oddly small in size The Paneer Makhani wasn't makhani at all  but more like Paneer Kadai swimming in cheap oil.
