The BEST DINNER I ever had in HK! 🥢Once you arrive, QUEUE in their machine so they can lead you to your table once there is availability.
ORDER in the given QR code (once you have your table) it's really convenient since their ordering system allows you to just select, confirm and wait for your food.
I really want to experience most of their food so we didn't order rice. Since there are 2 of us eating, we only ordered:
We ordered: 🦐 Stir fried prawns (has spiciness ♥️🌶️) 🥦 Stir fried seasonal vegetables (choose your vegetable) 🍖 Stir fried beef fillet (has potatoes on the side) (The crabs were sold out 🔥)
I love the option to have your food LESS SALTY since some people want it less.
If you want to pair your viand with veggies, better "place order" on the stir fried veggies 1st then go back to ordering since our Broccoli took awhile to arrive which was understandable because of how it was cooked and prolly there were other orders too.
🦐 Arrives fast after ordering. I suggest to select "less salty" to the stir fried prawns because yes it was a little bit salty in the first bite BUT THE FLAVOR IS SOOO RICH WITH SPICES AND IT'S FRESH! 🤌🏼 no joke! I felt grateful that I get to eat in this Dai Pai Dong in HK 🥹 their food is the highlight of our trip and it's above and beyond my experience!
🍖 Stir fried beef fillet is soooo tender! Well seasoned too! (I didn't even select less salty) It pairs up good with potatoes so it's okay not to order rice, but if you want rice, it's okay hahaha! 🥦We ordered Broccoli instead, which was well blanched but took awhile to arrive (arrived last so we have to wait for the veggie before we continue eating.)
I can really taste the unique HK style cooking in this Dai Pai Dong, the spices are on the next level! Really the best local experience 🥹♥️

Read moreWe actually went to the dai pai dong Saturday night but it wasn't opened. That wasn't expected because Google still showed this place open. My wife wanted to just settle on the stall opposite ( 天祥)but I refused to settle on that. So we went off and took dim sum at One Dim sum which is another great place and came back Sunday evening. Not wanting to miss anything that my wife wanted to try, we arrived at 435pm and found just a few people. We quickly settled down and order Razor Clams and Typhoon Crab ( seasonal price is hkd270) plus one garlic stir fried seasonal veggies. Using the online system, you can also choose less oil and less salt but we found that the chefs probably care less about the salt level. Well, the razor clams arrived oozing the aromatic smell of the black beans cooked with Capsicum, onion, garlic, ginger. Next the vegetable arrived and you can immediately taste the wok hey! It's indescribable! Next our main dish of Crab arrived. It's stir fried with ma la with ginger, onion, garnished with generous serving of vegetables. This stir fried crab was really so well done! The shells can be just peeled off and broke. The meat was fried under such a high heat that the juiciness was sustained but the aromatic Ma La plus other spices just seeped in.
The meal burnt a hkd536 hole but it's definitely worth coming...
