McDonald's (Airport Central Concourse Restricted Area) — Restaurant in Hong Kong

I ordered a breakfast set menu with Americano. Usually I would ask for and would get some cream at the counter when picking up my order. But this guy said to me in barely understandable Mandarin that because I ordered black coffee so I wound not get any, with a tone as if I was trying to take advantage of them. He went on said I should had ordered “baí kā feī” (white coffee) if I wanted milk. I was sure I didn’t see white coffee as a option. if he meant lattes, then I couldn’t drink that much milk, that’s why I always order Americano or drip-coffee or coffee of the day with room for half & half, or cream, or milk. Never had problem when living in the States or China. I guess I should just be thankful that they were the only few restaurants that open at 5am.

And this actually was my overall experience when transiting at HK airport. Staffs weren’t not very polite, they don’t speak either English or Mandarin well, yet they get attitude. Some of them might be just mentally...

Meet the world slowest, rudest MacDonald. Besides poor food, missing food and side of world class rudeness. One of a sight see must. I recommend front female staff who have taken too much free mcdonald meals.

We were there during our transit in hk and went in to get a quick bite. We have 261 ticket but they are calling out 270plus already. We went up the counter to see if our order was missed. The front counter female staff was very blunt and rude. Usually wouldn't leave a review for MacDs as it's MacD. But worse one I've been to. Staff stood around chatting and didn't want to serve customers. Especially at the McCafe area. Two girl staff gossiping and made me stand there waiting 5mins until they finished gossiping. All 4 drinks ordered had 70% ice, 30% actually drink. We actually took out all the absurd ice to see what was barely in there. Bare in mind they charge 2 to 3 times the amount on each item compared to other MacDs due to the fact they are in a airport.
