MILD — Restaurant in Hong Kong

Mild is operated as cafe in the daytime and bar in the nighttime, owned by 2 best friends. The sourdough is impressive, fragrant and perfectly crispy. The fillings are chicken breast and fuji apple, which is a good combo. Soft vs crunchy. It tastes very refreshing. On the other hand, pasta isn’t as good. The linguine is cooked to the softer side and the mentaiko flavour aren’t as strong as I expect. The smoked salmon is scattered all over the pasta, so pretty much can’t taste the salmon. The onsen egg is perfectly jammy but it doesn’t pair well with the Mentaiko flavour. The latte and the blueberry smoothie are pretty good. Latte is creamy and silky with a layer of microfoam. The nutty flavour of the coffee is just right. Smoothie is also a good drink for the hot summer. Totally worth a re-visit for the sourdough...

This is a cafe/coffee shop/evening bar on Junction Road in Kowloon City. They have a casual indoor seating area and offer and range of coffees, non-coffees and light dishes they can prepare in their kitchen for daytime visitors.

I stopped by and had a nicely prepared piccolo recently. This was a pretty good white coffee, espresso flavour was present, milk balanced the drink just fine. Food menu looked solid, potentially worth a try if visiting the Kowloon City area...
