Food is really great, and ingredients always fresh (which is also reflected in the price), but!

I am a frequent customer here and went to have dinner 19:50 while closure time is 21:00. When I arrived staff was already moping the floor and I had to eat & smell strong floor washing liquid (and obviously felt unwelcome). Drinking water was already removed as well.

After moping the floor staff just stood at the counter, so what was the rush to disturb customer(s)?

When I was checking out I reconfirmed whether closure time is 9PM with the last order time at 8PM, and after confirmation I asked what time I should come at latest so that I am not put washing liquid in my nose and still have water? 🤣 “we are sorry, do you need a receipt?”was the response and I replied “no, I just needed some water” and they still didn’t offer it (no problem, I got it outside in another place)🤣

So not sure about quality of staff training. Not the customer service you should be getting for this menu price though. Anyways food is really good, but go before 7PM. Take out and delivery is...

As a frequent visitor to various NOC branches in Hong Kong, I was disappointed by my recent experience at the Wong Chuk Hang The Southside Mall branch. Despite choosing to sit outside to accommodate our dog and confirming this setup with the staff, we were later informed of an unexpected 10% dine-in service charge.

This fee was not mentioned when I ordered my mocha, nor when my wife went inside to get water—a lack of transparency that differs from my previous experiences at other NOC locations. Moreover, the way the staff communicated this charge was unprofessional, lacking the courtesy I've encountered at other branches.

While the coffee was up to NOC's high standards, the service was not. Clear communication and consistent policies are crucial in hospitality, and unfortunately, this visit fell short. I hope this branch can align with the better standards I know NOC can offer. I went to NOC for lunch and got a table outside. The menu had quite a few vegetarian options, which I was pleased about. I was told that ordering had to happen indoors. Since I was dining alone, I had to leave some of my belongings on the table so I would not lose my spot, and because I was seated in a public outdoor space area, this left me feeling a bit vulnerable about leaving my stuff outside.
