I was told the seafood served here are fresher than those at Saikung so we decided to come here after an island hopping trip at Saikung. The restaurant was located at a shopping mall so getting a car park was a breeze. I must say this is a really busy restaurant given the prices are reasonable and lots of customers are from the same neighborhood. With much excitement trying some seafood in Hong Kong , my friend ordered roast pork, a lobster, an abalone dish and a stir fried spinach with superior broth. We didn’t need to wait long for all the dishes to arrive. The char siew turned out pretty ordinary. The abalone was steamed with garlic and superior soy sauce. Although it tasted ok but the abalone were very tough with robbery texture. I found it hard to chew..it was a disappointment. The lobster was cooked with ginger and shallot sauce. From the first look, the lobster appeared to be falling off from its shelves, it must have been the frozen type. The meat was not firm and kind of mushy. For HK $228 per lobster, I guessed it can’t be fresh. Else the restaurant would be losing big time. If you are looking for fresh seafood, this is not the place for you. The prices of the seafood here are just too good to be good. The spinach cooked in superior broth and century eggs was pretty good. We were offered red bean soup and the ginger jelly cake after the meal. I must admit both of these turned out to be the highlight of the meal. They were very tasty indeed. The service provided by the restaurant was good partly because my friend has been a regular customer here. The restaurant is very spacious and bright. Read more可以嘅話我真係想俾零粒星。3點3入嚟嘅時候冇人同我講4:00係會全部收嘢加走人,你嘅職員指示咗我去嗰張枱度仲有上一台客嘅茶未清走,你淨係識叫我坐住先,落單嗌茶嘅時候亦都冇一個人同我講話幾點收,你啲嘢3:30先過嚟,然後去到3點45嘅時候就熄晒全場燈。就係你隔離收嘢抹地。仲要食食吓唔知點解有煙味。
