Let me tell you that this place has a Festive and lively ambient 🎉😊 not alike the food & service 😢😒👎🏻 .
I was hungry and just arrived from Denpasar to HK looking for a good dinner to refuel and make my 18hr layover more bearable when I picked this Italian restaurant... Wait a minute I said Italian? To me looked like an average bar serving regular food, not Italian...
I want to tell you that I ordered a Mexican jalapeño hamburger and the description was mouth watering you know... Then you have to pair it up with a good beer so I think I did.. then I choose the San Miguel dark lager,.
Now you have your choice the burger and the beer, don't you think you have taken an important decision?! Have you feel that sense of accomplishment and satisfaction waiting to be completed for when your food arrives? Specially when you my hungry & thirsty word traveler needs something to keep going?
YOU GOT IT ALL NOW and the refueling its about to be Executed...
My second server looked confused about what kind of beer San Miguel Dark Lager was, even though it is well advertised in the bar/restaurant maybe it was her first day, the first server took my order and passed it along.
When my burger came the meat was kind of cold, I know right? Just arrived and now is cold! being too hungry and tired I decided to keep going the jalapeños not spicy at all not even noticed they were there. Later on I had suspicious of the meat being undercooked by the feeling of my tummy. By then the staff was just ignoring me, even for the check The bartender had to call someone's staff attention thank you Mr. Bartender... Maybe my server was too busy chatting and smoking in another patron's table... So a third server brought up my bill and noticed the beer was billed 20 HK dollars more expensive than in the menu! Why? Because the price I saw was in happy hour and by the time it was everything but freaking happy hour... Basically I felt trapped and dissatisfied with the food and service. The fellas there looked like they were having a very good time drinking though. I'm...
Read moreI had an unfortunate experience of bringing my friends (who came to visit tung chung for the first time) to Ouzu as they seemed to have a good Happy Hour Menu and they were promoting it as we walked past. We sat down and were encouraged to order from the happy hour menu as it would end at 8/9. We then choose to order 2 glasses each of the cheaper wines (per menu in photo: #4 Canelleto Montepulciano $50 and #Les Jamelles Pinot Noir $60) from the list (see photo of menu) based on the idea that we should take advantage of such a good happy hour. While we were not super impressed by the taste of the wines, we were still happy with what we got for the price we were expecting to pay. When we asked for the bill we noted that we were charged $60/$65 per glass as opposed to $50/$60 per glass and the servers told us it was due to the alignment of the menu and we read the menu wrong. Upon counting per their explanation we still noted that our expected prices were correct and theirs didn’t make sense. Once we requested for the owner to come to explain, someone who claimed to be the owner came out and told us that the prices on the bill has to be correct cause the “computer wont be wrong”. However, when we tried to explain our point to the owner she walked off rudely and said they will help us adjust the price anyway. It was an extremely disappointing and ridiculous experience. They tried to fool the customers and did not apologise for their mistakes on the menu/prices. I do not recommend this place at all, especially for their happy hour and its a shame cause their food smells great!...
Read moreI wish I could give 0 stars. The attitude of people working there was so rude, extremely disrespectful, especially the non asian lady. They charged us extra for all the wines we had, made all the excuses they could, kept on changing their reasonings, but weren't able to prove since the prices on ALL the menus were not matching what they had printed on our bill. At the end the same lady came, threw her logic, and when we answered back, proved her wrong using her logic, she slammed the bill card on the table saying 'fine, we'll cut it for you' and walked away. We could have replied to her walking but didn't want to create a scene. It's not about the money, not about the extra few dollars, but the ethics. They are trying to fool their customers, printing wrong prices on the menus and charging higher prices while billing. Extremely unprofessional, extremely unpleasant, wouldn't recommend anyone going there. Lol we have the picture of the menu, happy to attach here for...
