Diarrhoea and vomiting.. I visited this place with friends who highly recommended it. They were excited to bring me there. It was a fairly busy night which may explain why the service was a little on the slow side but cannot excuse undercooked green chicken curry, a standard Thai dish anywhere.. generally safe to order at any unfamiliar Thai restaurant.. except this one!
While eating this dish I noticed an overly soft texture to the chicken, which didn't quite taste right. I ignored my doubts at the time and continued eating but my guts were not so forgiving in the aftermath. I spent the following two days in my hotel room on the toilet with torrential diarrhoea and vomiting, so much so that on return home my kids commented on my weight loss and sunken face.

Read moreThe food at this Thai restaurant is truly excellent; authentic flavors, well-prepared dishes, and good portion sizes. Prices are reasonable for what you get and the service is friendly and polite, even if a bit on the slow side.
The only downside is the atmosphere. The place feels quite worn and outdated, as if it feels like it hasn’t been renovated since the 80s. A little refresh and modernization would make a big difference.
Still, the great food makes up for it. If you’re after genuine Thai flavors and don’t mind a slightly retro setting, it’s definitely a spot...
Read moreLiterally one of the worst restaurants on the island. The rudest staff I have encountered in a long time. The ladies are gossiping and laughing at the customers in Thai. And the manager is especially entitled. The food is also below average and greasy. Also, there were flies inside, so I doubt the food is sanitary. If the food was good then maybe the service could be over looked. It’s embarrassing to be terrible in both regards. Wouldn’t recommend wasting your money since there are so many better...
